Summary
A newGenshin Impactleak indicates that the long-awaited Sabzeruz Festival of Sumeru will be the flagship event for Version 5.1. ThisGenshin Impactflagship event comes with a Crown of Insight and a free 4-star character as its rewards.
Although Version 5.0 and Natlan were just released a few days ago,Genshin Impactfans are already excited about the game’s subsequent patches. Lots of content is coming in Version 5.1, including thedebut ofGenshin Impact’s Xilonen, a 5-star Geo character, as well as the next chapter of Natlan’s Archon Quest. PerGenshin Impacttradition, every update also comes with a flagship event. These are known for carrying a limited storyline with multiple characters involved and substantial rewards, like a Crown of Insight, a free 4-star character, or an event-exclusive weapon. Some flagship events are annual celebrations, such as Liyue’s Lantern Festival or the summer events, butGenshin Impactplayers have long asked for a specific Sumeru festival to occur again in-game. It seems they won’t have to wait long, according to a new leak.
Prominentcommunity leaker HomDGCat has revealedthat Sumeru’s Sabzeruz Festival will be the main event of Version 5.1. The leak shows that the festival will be divided into three acts and almost all Sumeru characters will have dialogue, except for Wanderer. Even the famous NPCs Dunyarzad and Sorush are making an appearance.Another leak sharedwithin the community indicates that the event’s name is “Chromatic Ode of Candies and Roses” and that players will receive a free Candace as a reward for participating.Genshin Impact’s Candace has a great C6 constellationthat makes her a useful Sub-DPS, so a free copy of her could come in handy. Rewards also include a Crown of Insight, Primogems, and various ascension materials.
Genshin Impact Version 5.1 Will Hold the Sabzeruz Festival
The Sabzeruz Festival is a celebration that commemorates the Dendro Archon’s birthday. Players first experienced the festival during the Sumeru Archon Quest, but the event has not made a comeback since, leaving fans hoping for its return. If the Sabzeruz Festival does happen again, players will be able to see the celebration in a whole new light, since Nahida is now free and the festival is no longer censored in Sumeru, as it was during the Archon Quest. Of course, the flagship event may not launch as soon as Version 5.1 drops, since the update’s main focus is Natlan’s Archon Quest, so the festival will likely release a few days after the patch. In the meantime,Genshin Impact’s current 5.0 eventsgive players a ton of Primogems and materials.
The long-awaited region of Natlan has finally been released andGenshin Impact’s playerbase has experienced a resurgence, as usually happens with the launch of a new region. The introduction of Natlan’s Saurians has fans exploring like never before.Genshin Impactalso presented new gameplay mechanicsin the form of Nightsoul and Phlogiston, which will be the core of upcoming Natlan characters.
