Three different characters appeared throughout the short video, showing off a short girl utilizing a vehicle, a white-haired girl fishing in a pond, and a black-haired boy using a Claymore. No names or details were given about the mystery Natlan characters, but fans are already expecting the three to be available duringGenshin Impact’s Version 5.0 update. However, fans have also discovered a major hint about Natlan’s layout.
Alongside the new characters,Genshin Impact’s newest teaser trailer unveiled the first hints about the Natlan region’s map. Fans have spliced together several shots of the map from the trailer, showcasing one of the firstpaths players will take in Natlan, surrounded by large hills and rocky outcroppings. The map marks locations for several points of interest throughout Natlan, including a structure nestled within the southeast mountains and the winding rivers in the southwest. Fans have also speculated the final Natlan map for Version 5.0 will likely be significantly larger.
Genshin Impact Hints at Natlan In-Game Map
Throughout the mountainous paths found in the Natlan map teaser, many fans have pointed out one particular structure missing from the early map. The initial reveal of Natlan’s map does not appear to feature Natlan’s capital city, instead focusing on the wilderness found throughout the region. Previous in-game dialogue has hinted at the presence of a variety of hot springs in Natlan, while the first Natlan teaser showcased a volcano environment. Natlan will release withGenshin Impact’s Version 5.0 update, currently expected to debut in late August.
WithGenshin Impact’s newest region on the way soon, fans still have one more exciting patch left in the Fontaine cycle. HoYoverse officially revealed its newest limited-time area during the Version 4.8 Special Program, with players traveling to the “Simulanka” area. The update will also add a pair of new skins for players to purchase withinGenshin Impact, withboth Nilou and Kirara receiving skinsduring Version 4.8.
