Some of the guns in the game can be complicated and require a certain level of skill to use. Players don’t want to be a burden on their teammates, and the guns that are easier to control should be able to land them a good number of kills without ever needing any attachments or learning how to use them properly.
8VK-47 Flatline
Best DPS For An Automatic Assault Rifle
Flatline is anAssault Riflethat requires Heavy ammunition. The weapon has 19 bullets without any extended mags, and one bullet shot from a Flatline deals up to 18 damage to the body and 32 damage to the head without a helmet.
This weapon should be a good choice for anyone who needs an easy-to-control gun, as the Flatline has a very predictable recoil pattern with a great damage-per-bullet ratio. Furthermore, the gun has good hip fire and its iron sight is pretty good. Players can attach any optic on the Flatline but only up to 2X-4X Variable AOG. Using a stock on this weapon is highly preferred as a high-level stock will reduce its reload time by 10%.
7L-Star
Easy Recoil & No Reloading
L-Star is a Light Machine Gun that does not require reloading. However, it has an overheating system in place of that. The gun uses energy ammo, and when fired, red plasma projectiles come out of the barrel. L-star can also be improved by equipping extended energy mags to delay the overheating system triggering.
In Season 22 ofApex Legends, all LMGs got buffed with a Reverse Hipfire mechanic, which tightens the hipfire bullet spread the longer the weapon is fired. So using any LMG would be a good choice for a new player as long as they have enough bullets and a big enough magazine. L-Star is one of thebest LMGsin the game and can be used during both the beginning and the ending parts of a match as it has good DPS and the bullets it shoots are bigger than any other weapons inApex Legends.
6Eva-8 Auto
Automatic & Easy Damage Dealer
The Eva-8 is the Don of all shotguns, and on top of that, it’s a fully automatic shotgun. It uses Shotgun shells and the gun contains 8 bullets per magazine. All Shotguns can equip Shotgun Blots that increase the rate of fire and Stock for reducing the ADS time and reload time.
Eva-8 is arguablythe best shotgunfor new players and has a very easy learning curve as they can spam many bullets within seconds and deal a good amount of damage. Eva-8 can deal a max of 72 damage to the head and 56 to the body as every cartridge contains 8 pellets.
5Longbow
Semi-Automatic & Usable At Any Range
The Longbow can be used at close range as well as long distances, making it an extremely easy-to-control weapon that’s good for beginners. This gun is very easy to control and since it’s a semi-auto sniper, there is no time delay between shots for re-chambering.
The Longbow can be improved by using extended mags, but initially, it will contain 6 bullets per mag. Sniper stocks can also be used to decrease the ADS time. The Longbow deals damage of 118 on a headshot and 55 on a body shot. Arguably, the Longbow is the best sniper with barely anything bad that can be said about it.
4G7 Scout
Semi-Automatic Mid-Range Beast
The best marksman weapon inApex Legendsis the G7 Scout. It is also a semi-automatic weapon that deals damage of 58 to the head and 33 on the body. The G7 Scout is an easy-to-control weapon in both mid and close-range. It comes with 10 bullets initially and equipping an epic magazine will increase the number of bullets to 20.
This weapon should be used by beginners and players who have difficulty controlling other weapons as its range is optimal and damage is phenomenal. However, the iron sight of the G7 Scout is probably one of the worst of any gun, so players who use this weapon should consider attaching optics.
3R-301 Carbine
Laser Beam Accuracy
The R-301 is the favorite assault rifle of many players because of its high damage-per-second with an accuracy similar to a laser beam. It possesses an easy recoil pattern, which is why many players get the hang of it early on and never move on to another. The R-301 is made for people who are new to the game. It has two types of fire modes: automatic and single fire. The latter can be used to preserve Ammo when dealing with the enemy at long distances.
This gun has 18 bullets initially and with an epic mag the number of bullets will increase to 28. A single bullet deals about 23 damage to the head and 18 on the body. The R-301 has one of the best iron sights but using the 2x Bruiseroptic sightis preferred.
2Volt SMG
Optimal Range & Little Recoil
The Volt SMG is also considered to be one of the best damage dealers when it comes to mid or even close-range. Volt has a good ADS speed and uses energy ammo. Its recoil is near to nothing and because it’s an SMG, its reloading speed is very fast. Plus, Volt’s iron sight is quite good on its own, and using hip fire on the weapon is also really easy.
Volt initially comes with 19 bullets and it deals damage of 19 on a head shot and 15 on a body shot. It can equip an extended mag, stock, and laser sights, but has only one firing mode. New players will love playing this weapon mainly because itsDPS is pretty goodwith little hip fire spread.
1Alternator
Negligible Recoil & Best Hop-up
The Alternator is the best weapon to be used by rookies since it has high damage per bullet and can also deal a lot of damage through hip fire at close range. Players can also attach Disruptor roundhop-upto the Alternator and increase the damage dealt to the enemy’s body shield.
This weapon has negligible recoil and a bullet can deal up to 19 damage on a body shot and 24 to the head with the hop-up. The Alternator comes with 19 bullets that can be increased to a max of 27.
