The codes appear to be redeemable for an in-game item inHalo 4, as well as severalHalo-themed items for the player’s Xbox avatar. Theclosure of the Xbox 360 storewas one of the most heart-wrenching moments in modern gaming history, with the digital storefront permanently shutting down on May 30, 2025. Microsoft had already announced last year it planned to shut down the store, but this didn’t make it any easier for fans to say goodbye. In the weeks leading up to the closure of the Xbox 360 storefront, publishers deployed deep discounts on a wide range of games. Hundreds of titles were listed in the store, with indie games making up a significant chunk of the Xbox 360’s library.
