Summary
Halo Infinite’s Operation: Fleetcom update has gone live. This latest update forHalo Infinitewill run from July 30 to September 3.
As it gets closer to its third year,Halo Infinitestill tries to keep things fresh with its Operations, which are essentially more modest versions of typical video game seasons. The most recent of these, Operation: Fleetcom, has brought with it a great deal of content and delivered plenty of changes to the 343 Industries-developed FPS.
In addition to offering a new 20-tier battle pass,Halo Infinite’s Operation: Fleetcom update has added a game mode, VIP fromHalo 3, to the series' latest mainline entry, andHalo: Reach’s Headhunter mode will follow soon as well. Moreover, the Operator armor andHaunted Helmet fromHalo: Reachhave been brought over toHalo Infinitevia the update. The Haunted Helmet can be obtained from The Exchange for 75,000 Spartan Points, which can now be earned in every completed match. Meanwhile, the Operator armor will be the reward for progressing through Operation: Fleetcom’s battle pass. Three new armor bundles, the Crime Crusher, Ghost of Reach, and Oblivion’s Herald, have also been added to theHalo Infiniteshop.
Forge users will be glad to know that the most recentHalo Infiniteupdate has made significant changes to its in-game editor. A new nav marker feature and messaging system should improve the experience of usingHalo Infinite’s powerful Forge mode. Additionally, the shooter’s entire campaign soundtrack, as well as more than 1,000 lines from theHalofranchise’s beloved multiplayer announcer, Jeff Steitzer, are now in the editor, giving creators even more tools to build and play around with.
Aside from introducing new content and adding features, Operation: Fleetcom made several changes to the sandbox that, according to the development team, were implemented based on feedback from the community. Many armaments, including some ofHalo Infinite’s best weaponslike the M41 Spnkr rocket launcher and the S7 Sniper rifle, have received tweaks. The parameters for both the Banshee and Ghost were also adjusted.
Halo Infinite’s next Operations will be Champions and Halloween. The former will run from September 3 to October 8, while the latter takes place between October 8 and November 5. Each will come with a new battle pass, with the rewards of the Champions pass being inspired by warriors and the spirit of connection. The pass for the Halloween Operation, as its name implies, will have rewards based on the spooky fall celebration.
