A big focus ofHalo Infinite’s upcoming Operation: Fleetcom is Forge, with several changes being announced by developer 343 Industries ahead of the update’s release. Perhaps one of the coolest and most unexpected changes is the addition of over 1,000 different voice lines fromlegendaryHaloannouncer Jeff Steitzer. Soon, creators will be able to use lines spoken by Steitzer himself, making custom maps and modes feel more authentic. TheHalo Infinitesoundtrack will also be made available for use in Forge, complete with distance-specific nodes that will help make maps feel more fleshed out and cinematic. The following tracks will be included in this new update.

Halo Infinite Makes Major Changes to Forge Mode

Also included in the new update toHalo Infinite’s Forge modeare items called nav markers that are intended to help players with “readability” during different game modes. “How do you know the enemy has your flag? Nav markers,” answers 343. “How will you be able to tell that a nearby enemy has dropped skulls in the Headhunter mode? You guessed it: nav markers!” For example, if creators want to let players know a nearby player dropped skulls in a Headhunter match, they can use custom nav markers to make for quick communication between the game and players without crowding the in-game HUD.

Players will also be able to create new UI messages, with over 600 new words and phrases being added. New name locations and armor effects will be part of Operation: Fleetcom, with the update also marking the return of two fan-favorite game modes: Headhunter and VIP.VIP has not been seen sinceHalo 3, with new nodes being added to Forge to allow creators to make custom matches based on this game mode.
