A new trailer for the game was released on August 22, showing off the sport’s high-flying action and explaining the four different roles players will be able to take during a match. The tail end of that trailer also shows off five special Bonus Legacy Pack rewards that will only be available to players who also own a copy ofHogwarts Legacyand have connected it to their WB Games accounts. Most of the rewards tie into the 2023 action RPG, such as a skin forHogwarts LegacySlytherin companion Sebastian Sallow, his wand, and a celebration and magic emblem associated with that game’s Ancient Magic powers. The final reward, the Moontrimmer Broom Skin, transforms the player’s broom into the masterpiece of famed fictional broom maker Gladys Boothby, which was introduced to the franchise’s lore in the 2001 bookQuidditch Through the Ages.

Hogwarts Legacy Player Rewards in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

The rewards forHogwarts Legacyplayers aren’t the only new things revealed in the trailer. While a previously released trailer hadintroduced venues other than Hogwarts toQuidditch Champions, those being rival schools Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, the new trailer also shows that players will be able to take to the pitch at the Quidditch World Cup and the Weasley Family Burrow.

Even with all the recent reveals, there are still a few questions surroundingHarry Potter: Quidditch Champions, such as who will fill out the teams for the two rival schools. The new trailer switches between in-game cinematics and live-action footage from the movie series, and while it doesn’t show any in-game images of him, it does make a point to show off a movie clip ofDurmstrang alum Viktor Krumcompeting in the Quidditch World Cup, which may point to his inclusion in the game’s roster of playable characters.
