How To Get The TR-40 Golden Eagle Armor In Helldivers 2
The TR-40 Gold Eagle armor set was released for free as part of theEscalation of Freedom update. It is neither available in the Super Store nor requires the purchase of a premium Warbond. The only thing you have to do isupdate your game to the latest patch. Head to the Armory on the Super Destroyer, and equip the armor.
Do note that the TR-40 Gold Eagle comprises body armor and aTR-40 Gold Eagle HelmetinHelldivers 2. While a golden cape would have been appreciated, players who own theSuper Citizen Editionwill find that the “Will Of The People” cape goes perfectly with the golden armor.
Those who watched the live developer stream on August 6 unlocked the TR-40 Gold Eagle armor 48 hours in advance. Your account is still eligible for the armor even if you did not catch the stream. Just log into the game.

The TR-40 Gold Eagle is based on the defaultB-01 Tactical ArmorinHelldivers 2. It features the same design, stats, and armor passive. The only difference is the bright, “high-visibility” color swap that lets you cut through nightly torrential rain, heavy smoke, and the dense fog ofSpore Chargers inHelldivers 2, at least according to the in-game claims.
