Honkai: Star Rail’s Rumored New Path Could Bring a Big Change
According to recent leaks, the next Trailblazer Path might be Remembrance, which is presided over by the Aeon Fuli. ThePath of Remembrance is only currently playable in the Simulated Universe, butHonkai: Star Railhas yet to release characters under this class. If it’s true, it’s highly likely thatHonkai: Star Railwill introduce more characters who are following this Path once the Astral Express Crew lands in the fourth world, Amphoreus.
In the Simulated Universe, the Path of Remembrance is used for its freezing properties, making it the perfect Blessing for Ice-type characters. It can also reduce Effect RES, so it’s easier to apply freeze and other debuffs onto enemies. Because of this, manyHonkai: Star Railfans believe thatleaked character Aglaeamight become the first Remembrance character because she’s said to have Ice abilities.
Honkai: Star Railleaks claimed that Aglaea might be an Ice-type Destruction character, just like Jingliu. But this information is still subject to change, and it’s still possible that Aglaea’s Path and kit might change in the future.
What’s interesting is that the Trailblazer’s Path usually guidesHonkai: Star Rail’s meta, just like how theHarmony Trailblazeris viable in the last few updates because of its focus on Break Effect. If the rumored Remembrance Trailblazer will be given freezing abilities, it could greatly shake up the meta and might even encourage mono-Ice comps.
Of course, the Path of Remembrance doesn’t have to solely depend onIce-type characters. It can definitely introduce characters using different elements while banking on the Effect RES reduction to deal more damage. This could also be the perfect combination for Nihility team comps, which can be a hint of what’s to come in the next major version update.
It’s important to note that HoYoverse hasn’t made an official announcement about the next Trailblazer Path being Remembrance. It will likely take months before fans can get confirmation, especially sinceHonkai: Star Railhas yet to reveal the official details of the next world, Amphoreus, and what people can expect while playing through its missions.
More Opportunities For Honkai: Star Rail’s Aeons to Shine
Honkai: Star Rail’s universe gives a lot of importance to its Aeons, who are essentially gods that can either guide or destroy those who follow them. While Aeons are not active characters in the game, they’re often mentioned in conversations and certain characters wield powers from these beings. The Trailblazer is the best example of this, as three Aeons have glanced at her and bestowed her with great power so far.
With the Path of Remembrance rumored to be added as a character Path, this opens up opportunities for more Aeons to be introduced in the game, be it in the main game or in the Simulated Universe. This will also give HoYoverse more resources to create unique abilities and power-ups inHonkai: Star Railthat can change the meta, as well as allow players to further familiarize themselves with the powerful Aeons.
