Summary
The latest chapter ofHonkai: Star Rail’s Xianzhou Luofu adventure is even more thrilling than what came before. With the threat of a borisin takeover looming above the citizens, the Trailblazer must find a way to stop the wolf-like monsters from annihilating the world. In the upcomingHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.5, fans will follow the Trailblazer as they hunt down the borisin leader, Hoolay, and save the region.
Titled “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue,“Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.5officially launches on June 26, 2025. It will feature a new story quest, playable 5-star characters, and Planar Ornaments, which will be useful in beating strong enemies scattered around Xianzhou Luofu.

New Honkai: Star Rail Banner Characters
Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.5 will be the debut of5-star banner characters Feixiao and Lingsha, and 4-star Moze. These Xianzhou natives were already introduced in the previous update, but this will be the first time that fans will experience their special abilities firsthand.
Known as the “Merlin’s Claw,” Feixiao is Xianzhou Yaoqing’s Arbiter-General, who is skilled in martial arts and wields gun blades and a waraxe. She is a Wind-type The Hunt character that can deal immense damage to her foes. The second 5-star unit is Lingsha, a Fire-type Abundance healer, who is the Alchemy Commission’s new Cauldron Master. She controls incense smoke to attack enemies and heal allies. Lastly, the mysterious Moze, a Lightning-type The Hunt character, is ready to use his assassination skills in battle.
5-star Rerun Characters
Honkai: Star Railhas confirmed the new banner systemfor Version 2.5. For the first banner phase, players will get the chance to choose from three 5-star rerun characters: Robin, Black Swan, and Kafka. This will be the first time thatHonkai: Star Railutilizes this banner system, and this feature could become the norm in future updates. Meanwhile, the second banner phase will only feature Topaz and Numby as the 5-star rerun character.

New Light Cones and Planar Ornaments
Along with the new playable characters,Honkai: Star Railis also coming out with new Light Cones to complement their abilities. These can also be used to further improve the abilities of other characters, especially if players won’t be able to pull for Feixiao, Lingsha, or Moze.
Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.5 is also introducing new Planar Ornaments to further upgrade the abilities of new and existing characters. Plus, this likely means that there will be a new Simulated Universe andDivergent Universe stage in the next update.
New Xianzhou Luofu Location
The Xianzhou Luofu adventure is also centered around the Xianzhou Wardance, where fighters from across the cosmos showcase their strength and prowess.Honkai: Star Railis opening up another Xianzhou Luofu map called the Skysplitter, which is the flying warship that will host the Wardance.
Powerful Boss Battles
Honkai: Star Railrevealed the long-awaited boss battle against Hoolay, the borisin Brood Lord, who is the major antagonist in this Xianzhou Luofu chapter. Apart from Hoolay, the Trailblazer will also face a boss version of Feixiao, most likely during the story mission.
New Events
The major event forHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.5 is going to be the Luminary Wardance Ceremony, where players can face off against different characters to come out on top. Once they’ve finished this event, players can receive Stellar Jade, March 7th The Hunt Eidolons, and a pet Tuskpir. The latter is confirmation thatHonkai: Star Railhas finally added pet companionsthat follow them around permanently.
As usual, the next update will have Gift of Odyssey, which gives out login rewards, and events that offer double Relics and Planar Ornaments. Probably the biggest reward thatHonkai: Star Railfans will receive is 1,000 Stellar Jades from Gift of Comet, which is a pre-download perk.
