How To Beat Yin Tiger In Black Myth: Wukong
As the fight begins, Yin Tiger will start sharpening his sword, and if you approach him instantly, he will go into his deflection stance. In this stance, Yin Tiger takes less damage and starts to charge up Focus on his sword, which he can use to unleash a deadly attack.
Do not attack him when he is in this stance. Even if you think you’re able to get a few hits for extra damage, it is not worth it if you take the hit from his empowered attack.
Yin Tiger has a lot of combos, which increase in number as the fight progresses. During the first phase, he will mostly use three-hit combos, which, keep in mind, are sometimes delayed quite a bit.
You must get used to delaying your dodge against his attacks because most of them do not hit quickly. You can alsouse the Rock Solid Parryif you are comfortable with doing so. During combos, you might notice his sword starting to fire up as you dodge attacks, and this can end up with the boss following up with a fiery slam twice. The slams cause the floor to erupt slightly, damaging you even after the attack.
After taking out 10-20% of his health, Yin Tiger will start vanishing into the air and following up with attacks that you should only focus on dodging.
As you see him disappear, start running around and dodge the moment you see him because he can shout, which ends up being a grab if you are close to him. He tends to vanish again after the grab, descending from the sky with a vertical or rotating slam.
As the fight progresses, the boss will start doing five to six-hit combos, which will all have empowered finishers that can take out half of your health bar. It would be best to wait out his combos before starting your Light attack combos.
