Magearna is a Mythical Steel/Fairy Type Pokemon that was first introduced in the Seventh Generation. While players were able to obtain a Magearna inPokemon Sun & Moonand inPokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon,this version of the Pokemon is just the regular version, not the original version of the Pokemon that players can hardly obtain.

What Is Magearna In Pokemon?
Magearna is a Pokemon created by humans rather than a natural Pokemon. It was originally created by a scientist around 500 years ago, and the Pokemon is able to read the emotions, feelings, and thoughts of other Pokemon. Magearna can even feel the pain and suffering of other living beings, making it an extremely interesting and complex Pokemon.
In order to obtain the regular version of this Pokemon, players justhad to scan a QR code during thePokemon Sun & Moondaysof the games. The best thing about this QR code is that it will work indefinitely, meaning players could obtain this Pokemon today if they were to scan the code. However, this was just the regular version, not the Original Color Magearna.
How To Obtain An Original Color Magearna In Pokemon
As mentioned above, this is the rarest Pokemon in the series, and that is entirely due to how difficult it is to obtain it. The only known way to obtain this Pokemon (at least legitimately) is by completing the National Pokedex in Pokemon Home all the way up to the Pokemon Eternatus (#890), which also includes every single Mythical Pokemon in the Pokedex up to Melmetal (#809).
Originally, players needed to have a Living Pokedex, meaning they needed to have all 890 of these Pokemon within Pokemon Home. Thankfully, this has been changed to just having the Pokemon registered within the Pokedex, so players are able to return Pokemon back to their original games after registering them in Pokemon Home.
Once players have obtained all 890 Pokemon and have registered them into the Pokemon Home Pokedex, they will obtain the Original Color Magearna in the gift area within the app, allowing them to finally obtain this rare beast.
