With the new A Rift In Time Act III update, Dreamers have a whole new mystery to solve. After stealing the powerful Spark of Imagination from you duringThe Spark of Imagination quest,Jafar now wants to use it to bend time. To stop him and unlock Jafar as a villager in Dreamlight Valley, you’ll have to complete a long series of quests.
After players enter Jafar’s mysterious palace, they will need to feed Jafar’s raven to get the key to his throne during the Jafar’s Laboratory quest. It might sound simple at first, but feeding this picky bird is actually quite tricky, much likeother DDV critters. This guide will show you how to feed Jafar’s raven inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Feed Jafar’s Laboratory Bird in Disney Dreamlight Valley
When you meet the black raven in Jafar’s Laboratory, you will need to prepare a special meal for him with fresh vegetables and rotten seafood to win his favor and proceed in your quest.
This raven, or “annoying nuisance” as Jafar calls him, likes to eat a four-star meal called Bird Food. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to cook it:
How to Get Rotten Seafood and Fresh Veggies for Jafar’s Bird in DDV
All the ingredients you need are on a nearby table in Jafar’s Laboratory, but there’s a catch: all of these items, including the seafood items, are fresh. To make the Bird Food, you’ll need fresh vegetables and rotten seafood.
To find rotten seafood, players will have to use the large hourglass, just like they did earlier in The Palace of Time quest. Start by going to the table and picking up only fresh tomatoes and carrots. To get rotten seafood, you’ll need to go back in time. Solook for the big hourglass in the laband interact with it. After that, go back to the table, where you will now see rotten clams and fish.
Luckily, these items are available for free, so you won’t have to spend your Star Coins. After collecting everything, go to the nearby cooking station and toss the ingredients into the pot. And just to quickly mention, you’ll also needone Coal Oreto cook the meal.
Once the Bird Food is ready, go to the raven and offer him the meal. He will happily give you a shiny object called the Power Coil in return, which you can use to get Jafar’s Key.
