In many Fallout Games, finding a safe location where you may stash your loot and rest between adventures is essential.Fallout Londonis no exception to this, though it does make the act of finding somewhere to set up shop much harder than in Fallout 4. Finding a Settlement Location will require you to complete a sidequest or two and put in the effort to earn your safe spot.

Fallout London’s Settlements are scattered across London and rather easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. Even the one most easily found by following the main quest requires you to track down an NPC and pass a Charisma check before you can access it. This guide will explain how to find three early settlements, so you can finally stash all that valuable junk you’ve been hoarding.

Vauxhall Grove Construction Site

This one requires the longest walk from where you end up after the initial Train Crash, but doesn’t need you to complete any quests or pass any skill checks to access. Head for the location shown on the map above, ideally without drawing the attention of the Hooligans that patrol the surrounding area, and interact with the Workstation to claim this location. It’s a good spot on the western side of the map with a decent amount of flat ground to build on.

Biggin Hill Airport

This is a good early choice that can be found without going too far from where you start, though it comes at the price of completing a somewhat tricky quest. The easiest way to find this place is tohead directly west from Churchill Library, heading for the spot shown on the map above. Once you get there, you’ll need to talk with the Tree Man teaching Yoga (his name is Gordo) and offer to help out the Settlement. He’ll send you to kill some hostile Dryads nearby, before directing you to an underground bunker to the north.

Once inside, you’ll need to follow the instructions on a nearby terminal to activate the scanner next to the bunker door, before heading inside. Take out the turrets and fight your way past the Dryads, making your way to a sealed door with a terminal nearby. Hack the terminal to open the door, take out the Legendary Glowing One inside (no easy task, but you can kite it into the deep water you swam through to reach the door and force it to reset its aggro) and speak with the Synapse Tree.

After talking with the Synapse Tree and discerning its identity, report back to Gordo. He’ll tell you to come back in a few days, so either explore awhile or find a bed and wait for two days. When you return, Gordo will name you Head Druid and grant you access to the Biggin Hill Airport Workstation.

London Bridge

Another excellent and easy to reach early choice, London Bridge makes for an excellent settlement but is locked behind a somewhat tricky skill check. You’ll need to speak to Beefy, an ex-beefeater who’s running a toll bridge scam on London Bridge, and pass a Charisma Check (Requires 5 Charisma) and an Intelligence Check (Requires 6 Intelligence) to get him to ask you for help. You can skip the Intelligence Check if you have the Local Leader or Cannibal Perks.

Beefy needs you to take out his former boss and reduce the Beefeater presence in the area, and in exchange he’ll give you London Bridge. The three Beefeater leaders in the areawill be marked on the map as Miscellaneous Quest objectives, so take a stroll and take them all out. Make sure to bring back trophies to prove they’re dead, then Beefy will be thrilled to hand over London Bridge. He’ll stick around to serve as a guard and help you out, which is a nice bonus.

This settlement is an excellent central location and has seven settlers already, so with a little work you can turn it into a bustling little town to operate out of.
