The v30.40 update forLEGO Fortnitebrings a wide range of additional content to the survival game. With this update, players can utilize new toys like Activated Balloons, Pressure Plates, and Trigger Plates. However, the biggest addition in this update has to be the ability to fast travel, which serves as an alternative means to get around the map withoutbuilding a car.
As of the v30.40 update, players can now fast travel around the map using Bus Stations. Bus Stations are found in different areas of the map, and by interacting with them, players can travel to other Bus Stations in the blink of an eye.
How To Fast Travel in LEGO Fortnite
Before players can fast travel, they will need to have access to a Bus Station.
Bus Stations are structures that can be found in random locations on the map, so discovering them is largely based on luck. However, there will always be a Bus Station set up near the player’s world spawn point when they first load up a new world, meaning that players can encounter one pretty early on. Players can also build their own, though the main resource needed to create them can only be harvested from already existing Bus Stations.
The most reliable way to find a Bus Station is to explore the map thoroughly, as it can easily be spotted from a distance due to theblue radar-like pulse effectit emits. Once players have discovered a Bus Station, it will be marked on the map for them to revisit later.
To increase their chances of locating a Bus Station, players can find an elevated area andutilize a Spyglass.
Once players are near a Bus Station, they canbegin the fast travel process by pressing “F”.This will bring them to the fast travel interface where they do the following:
After selecting their destination, players need to wait for a short period before automatically hitching a ride on the Battle Bus. Upon arriving at their chosen location, players will drop from the Battle Bus just like they would in Battle Royale, automatically deploying a glider once they reach a certain height to avoid fall damage.
