The way a weapon feels is often enough to attract or deter players inOnce Human, and if you don’t quite like how your gun kicks when shooting, using a muzzle device like the Integrated Compensator should make things feel more manageable. It’s one of the many different weapon accessories in the game, and if you’re looking for a net positive for two different stats, then this muzzle brake’s for you.
Fast-firing weapons like the MPS7 Outer Space forOnce Human’sPower Surge buildstend to have bad recoil and accuracy. Using the Integrated Compensator alleviates that problem a fair bit, especially when combined with other accessories. If this is something that interests you, here’s where you can find this attachment.
Where To Find The Integrated Compensator In Once Human
The Integrated Compensator is locked behind one of the many riddle spots in the Iron River region. Specifically, what you’re looking for is a Lonely Camera, which is basically a camera sitting on a tripod in the middle of nowhere. The one containing the Integrated Compensator is inthe treeline west of the Winding Ridge Farmland (5940, -3667), which can be found directly east ofthe Refinery Polution Point POI inOnce Human.
Lonely Camera riddle spots are pretty simple. Investigate the camera, then a doppelganger of you will appear and do a random emote. All you need to do is copy whatever emote the clone is doing. In this case, you need to do theBye-Bye emoteto satisfy the riddle. After that, a chest will appear, and inside is the Integrated Compensator, some Energy Links, Stellar Planula, and a Controller.
You need to do the emote quickly, otherwise the clone will disappear. To open the Emote menu, press and hold X on your keyboard, then select the More option. Otherwise, you may set emotes to the quick-select wheel by going to the Expression tab in the Cosmetics menu.
What Is The Integrated Compensator For?
This muzzle deviceincreases your gun’s Accuracy and Stability stat by 7 and 13 respectively. It is only compatible with automatic weapons, namely the KV-SBR, MPS5, MPS7, SOCR,KAM,MG4, and KVD. The compensator is most useful on the SMGs and LMGs, as they typically have high recoil and poor accuracy.
While theIntegrated Compensatoris nice to have, it does get replaced later on byOnce Human’sHammer Compensator— this one provides 9 Accuracy and 19 Stability, but it’s only for ARs and LMGs. The caveat with theHammer Compensatoris that it’s found all the way in the Red Sands region. If the current server you’re on already has the entire map unlocked, you can make a beeline for this accessory and skip the Integrated Compensator completely.
