Some of the planets that players visit inStar Wars Outlawsare pretty large, which can make exploring them on foot incredibly challenging. Thankfully, once they arrive on the moon of Toshara, they’ll gain access to a Speeder, with which they’ll be able to circumnavigate most ofthe game’s planetsin a matter of minutes.
Eventually, players will be able to upgrade their Speeder to make it faster and more durable, although, to begin with, they’ll probably want to focus their attention on how to find it. Thankfully, the Speeder can be summoned in most areas with just a single button press, althoughStar Wars Outlawsnever actually explains this to its players.
How to Summon Kay’s Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws
To summon Kay’s Speeder, players just need topress right on the D-pad(or the Y key, if playing with a mouse and keyboard). It’s worth noting that this won’t work while in settlements or any other speeder restricted areas, but as long they’re in an area where Speeders are allowed, pressing right on the D-pad should make Kay’s Speeder appear near her current location. Alternatively, players can visit a mechanic and open up the Speeder upgrade menu, which will also result in the Speeder spawning in nearby.
Players will know whether or not they can summon their speeder based on the small Speeder icon that can sometimes be seen at the bottom of the screen.
When Do Players Unlock the Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws?
As mentioned above, the Speeder first becomes available when players crashland on Toshara, with Kay using it to reach Mirogana as part of the game’s main story. Players will then be able to use it on all ofthe open-world planets inStar Wars Outlaws, as well as in certain areas of the more linear ones. There may be times when the Speeder is unavailable though, with players unable to summon it or being forced to dismount while in a speeder restricted area.
