The Slicing Kit is the primary ability acquired from The Slicer, so it does not have any specific unlock requirements, other than completing The Slicer’s questline. “The Slicer” is part of two Expert quests that are made available by Danka after completing “New Tricks.”

Once you’ve unlocked the Slicer, make sure to keep an eye out for various upgrades for the tool. The Slicer has theSlice Kit Upgradeability, which unlocks Energy bars for the Slicing Kit, allowing the use of Jokers.

How to Get the Holotracker in Star Wars Outlaws

The Holotracker is a special item that is tied to one ofStar Wars Outlaws’most lucrative side quests. Jet Kordo, the original owner of the Trailblazer, hid several vaults, each of which contains a piece of extremely useful gear. The Holotracker is capable of leading Kay to these vaults. It is also capable of leading Kay to the many Smuggler Caches that are hidden around the game world.

The Holotracker will be automatically available to unlock not long after ND-5 becomes a member of the crew. When you receive a call from ND-5 asking that you head back to the Trailblazer, make sure to do so as soon as you can. ND-5 will explain the items' uses and how they function.

Players will notice early on thatStar Wars Outlawsfeatures Elite enemies that Kay cannot take downfrom stealth. When you approach these enemies, you’ll see the ‘Electro-Shock Prod Required’ prompt. Without the prod, Kay’s attacks will just bounce off the enemy’s armor. Having the Electro-Shock Prod has an incredible impact on stealth gameplay. It’s hard to imagine going back once it’s unlocked.

The Electro-Shock Prod is unlocked through The Scavenger. This expert, whose name is Temmin Wexely, is encountered as part of “The Droidsmith,” Akiva’s main quest. The Electro-Shock Prod ability is not primary, so it does have a specific set of unlock conditions.

How to Get the Fusioncutter in Star Wars Outlaws

The Fusioncutter is one of the few special tools that is unlocked directly within a quest, with no requirements whatsoever. The Fusioncutter is used to gain access to specific gates found throughout the world. You’ll likely encounter them as early as Jaunta’s Hope on Toshara, but will only get a “Fusioncutter Required” message when you approach.

The Fusioncutter is unlocked during the “Legacy” main mission, near the end of the game. Kay will get the tool directly from Gedeek as they head deeper into an underground hideout. The Fusioncutter will likely be the last tool Kay unlocks, completing her set and granting access to all the blocked off sections of the galaxy.
