While many Unique items grant effects that can become very flashy and class-centric, your builds inDiablo 4will sometimes need effects that are as simple as providing more survivability, like theHarlequin Crest, increased skill damage, like the Shard of Verathiel, or reduced cooldown, like theFlickerstepboots. Coincidentally, this type of Unique item can be equipped by any character, regardless of their class.
That is where the Locran’s Talisman Unique amulet comes in, one of the 15 new Unique items introduced inDiablo 4Season 5, and one that will help you out with an important aspect of damage output like critical strike chance. While not the most powerful Unique of the bunch, it will grant you an important boost in your overall damage output. There are a few methods you can use to get andfarm Locran’s Talisman Unique inDiablo 4.
How to Get Locran’s Talisman Unique in Diablo 4
The Locran’s Talisman Unique is probably the easiest Unique item you can get inDiablo 4. All you need to do is complete The Eyes of the Enemy questline in World Tier 3 or World Tier 4. Travel to Zarbinzet, meet Locran, complete The Eyes of the Enemy and To the Edge of the Abyss quests, and you will receive Locran’s Talisman Unique as a quest reward.
You will alsounlock the Infernal Hordes activity, which can come in handy if you are just starting to use Unique items in your build.
However, this questline’s completion is account-wide inDiablo 4, so only one of your characters will need to complete it to unlock the Infernal Hordes activity; however, that means that Locran’s Talisman will drop mid-quest only once.
Fortunately, you can also get it through conventional methods.
Other Ways To Get Locran’s Talisman
You can collect it by opening treasure chests and defeating enemies in WT3 and WT4, with an added drop chance when completing Nightmare Dungeons, defeating World Bosses, orsuccessfully beating Gathering Legions.
No Uber Bosses will drop Locran’s Talisman, but you can farm it by completing Infernal Hordes runs. After completing The Eyes of the Enemy questline, you will get your first Infernal Compass, which will open the portal to the Infernal Hordes inDiablo 4. Defeat enemies to trigger Aetheric Events, which will summon powerful enemies that willreward you with Burning Aetherif you beat them. Use this Aether to open Spoils of Equipment chests after beating the Fell Council bosses at the end of the activity – 20 Burning Aether for the base Spoils of Equipment chest, 60 for Spoils of Greater Equipment.
To maximize your Aether gain inDiablo 4, which will allow you to open more chests, use Abyssal Scrolls found in Spoils of Materials chests toupgrade your Infernal Compasses. That way, when used, these higher-tier Compasses will trigger more difficult versions of the Infernal Hordes with more powerful enemies, more enemy waves, and, therefore, more Burning Aether. The Spoils of Greater Equipment – which drop items with guaranteed Greater Affixes – chest will only appear after using Tier 3+ Infernal Compasses, so take that into account.
