How To Get The Star-Lined Sword
The good news is that the Star-Lined Sword can be obtained pretty early on in the expansion before players even take on their first boss. Players need to head all the way to the western part of Cerulean Coast to get the sword, as seen in the video above. To start off, players can start from Gravesite Plain andmake their way to the Three Path Cross Site of Grace, where they meet Hornsent and Freyja. From there, they should continue northeast towards the bridge and reach the Castle Front Site of Grace. Follow the road towards the east until you reach the edge of the cliff where an enemy would be standing. Towards the end of the cliff, there will be a path that leads down.
Make your way to the bottom of the cliff to find a lake with enemies around. Towards the southern part of the lake, there will be a cave that will lead you to the Ellac River Cave Site of Grace. From there, all you need to do is keep going South, using your mount to go across the rocks until youfinally reach a Furnace Golem. Right where the Furnace Golem is standing, take a right into the woods, where you will find another cave that will lead you to Cerulean Coast.
From the Cerulean Coast, continue heading all the way towards the west end of the coast to reach the Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace. From the Site of Grace, you need to head towards the east, between the rocks, until you reach two roads with a rock structure in between. Take the path on the left and continue forward until you find a gap between two cliffs. Make your way into that to find the Demi-Human Queen Marigga.
It is fairly easy to defeat this boss, but players should be wary of taking down the enemies in the vicinity first, as they can quickly whittle down one’s health. Close-quarter combat works best for Demi-Human Queen Marigga, although players can use spells to take it down a well, provided they stay vigilant of its long-range attacks. Once the boss is defeated, players will get the Star-Lined Sword as a reward.

Is The Star-Lined Sword Better Than The Moonveil?
While the Star-Lined Sword is definitely a bitmore flashy than the Moonveil, its exact utility will vary based on what players want. It is definitely a better choice for dexterity-inclined builds, as it has a B-tier Dexterity scaling. The Moonveil, on the other hand, has both B-tier Dexterity and Intelligence scaling, with the latter affecting the Transient Moonlight damage, which is something players will be predominantly using while using the Katana. The Star-Lined Sword’s skill also scales with Intelligence, but players will get much lesser returns as compared to the Moonveil.
The Moonveil allows players to put more points in Intelligence, which opens up space for a hybrid mage build, as players can have a powerful Staff in their off-hand to cast sorceries. For the Star-Lined Sword, it is probably a much better idea to have it dual-wielded with another Katana, as it will give players much better returns. In fact, if the damage of the weapon skill is compared, the Star-Lined Sword does more damage, but its long animation is probably going to put players at risk.
