Once Humanoffers a decent degree of weapon customization by providing players with different attachments to go with their gear mods. If you’re rocking an assault rifle and want to pour more bullets down range before reloading, you can combine certain mods with theExtended Rifle Magto maximize your DPS uptime.

Like manyweapon accessories inOnce Human, the Extended Rifle Mag will require you to pour a little bit of effort into obtaining it. Thankfully, getting this attachment isn’t hard, but it might take a while before you may get to where it’s hidden.

Approximate location of the Extended Rifle Mag in Once Human

Once Human Extended Rifle Mag Location

The Extended Rifle Mag is located at the western end of Red Sands, right next to the border leading to the Blackheart region. It’s near the river, which is a short drive north of the Forsaken Monolith. Players can reach this location once their server reaches the second phase as part ofOnce Human’sseasonal model.

The majority weapon attachments in the game are locked behind some sort of riddle or puzzle. In the case of the Extended Rifle Mag, players need to find the blue lily pads by the riverbed. Hop onto one of them, and wait for it to light up. Once it starts glowing red, hop onto the next lily pad until all three of them are glowing. The lily pads will reset if you don’t activate them all fast enough, so hop to it.

Falling into the water won’t reset the puzzle, so feel free to go ham.

Successfully lighting up all the lily pads will cause a loot chest to appear. Much like the chest forOnce Human’sHammer Compensator, this one contains the Extended Rifle Mag as well as some Energy Links, a spare Controller, and Stellar Planula for the Morphic store.

Once Human Extended Rifle Mag Stats

As you’d expect from an extended magazine, this one increases the amount of ammunition you can fire before reloading. It’s only compatible with theKAMand SOCR series ofAssault Riflesat the moment, but it should work with similar weapons that are released in the future. For other weapons, you’ll have to find different extended mags for each of them.

The Extended Rifle Mag is well worth using despite its fairly neglible penalty. It’s especially useful for the KAM Crank when used in aBurn build inOnce Human. The KAM Crank inflicts Burn on every seventh hit, and the Extended Rifle Mag ensures that you inflict max Burn stacks on an enemy before having to reload.
