World of Warcraftis one of the most well-known and most-played MMOs of all time. The game even hasWorld of Warcraft Classic, which is a way for players to experience the earliest days of the game. With this version of the game comes seasonal characters during the Season of Discovery, which has just entered Phase 4, adding more content to the Season.
One thing that the classic version of the game allows players to do is to collect mounts and pets. During the early days of the game, one popular pet was the Worg Pup, which was added to the Blackrock Spire dungeon, allowing players to obtain this pet if they tried hard enough. Thankfully,Phase 4 increased the maximum level in the game, adding the Blackrock Spire Dungeon. Here’s how to get this pet.
How To Get The Worg Pup In WoW SoD
The Worg Pup is an adorable little Worg (the wolf-like creatures that Orcs ride on) pup that is available to either faction despite being a Worg. The pet is available inWoW Classicvia theBlackrock Spire dungeon, which is located in the Blackrock Mountains. In order to actually obtain the pet, players will need to head to the Flame Crest within the Burning Steppes and speak to Kibler, who will give them the quest “Kibler’s Exotic Pets” once they reach level 55. Here’s a breakdown of the pet itself:

Kibler’s Exotic Pets Breakdown
This quest requires that players head to Blackrock Spire with an Empty Worg Pup Cage and capture one of the Worg Pups inside the dungeon to bring back to Kibler. To do this, players just need to use the item on the Worg Pups that appear with the boss Halycon. Once used on the animals, the player will obtain the item Caged Worg Pup, which can then be taken back to Kibler in the Burning Steppes in exchange for a Worg Carrier, which is then used to summon a Worg Pup.
When VanillaWoWwas retail, the Worg Pup could sometimes change colors when summoned. Since a later patch, this is no longer the case and the Worg Pup will remain the same color.
