InSword Of Convallaria, the main character, also known as the Voyager, has their own level despite mostly staying out of battles and missions after the prologue. Players' main focus will be on the heroes they summon, leveling them up and making them stronger through better gear and ranking them.
The Voyager will earn XP whenever you complete battles in each game mode, with the amount of XP earnedmatching the amount of Staminaused. The Voyager’s level also acts as a cap for the level your other heroes can be, with Common XP helping them reach that limit easily. The Voyager’s level also acts as an account level and gets a set amount of XP equivalent to the Stamina used when completing a mission. While leveling up the Voyager is a steady grind, leveling up heroes can be done much faster.

Common XP is a resource players will quickly start earning while completing the prologue of the game. While this is an okay source of Common XP, there are other methods that reward much more Common XP:

Voyage Momento
Along theleft side of the screen in Elysium is the Voyage Momento. The Voyage Momento is more like milestone rewards than quests, that will be unlocked by simply playing the main story and the game in general. Check back often as many of the ranks reward large sums of Common XP.
Cornucopia
The Cornucopia is this game’s version of a battle pass, with a free and paid version.Completing quests and seasonal questswill reward XP for the Cornucopia with many ranks rewarding Common XP.
Level Up Training
In the Crossing World menu, the Level Up Training challenges can be completed to reward large sums of Common XP.
Shop
In the Exchange section of the shop, Hope Luxites can be traded for Common XP, with50 Hope Luxites buying 25,000 Common XP, though Hope Luxites are usuallybetter used for summons.
Completing Missions
XP is earned by any character who participates in a mission and isn’t the max level, with some missions rewarding players with additional Common XP.
Zone Star Rewards
Missions in the main story are split up into zones. As you complete missions within that zone, you’ll earn stars that will unlock rewards along the bottom of the screen when looking at that zone’s map, with some rewards being Common XP.
How & When To Use Common XP
Common XP is great at getting new heroes to quickly be the same level as your current party, butmaxing out a hero’s levelhas a downside. Your party will earn XP alongside your Voyager when you complete missions, and once a hero is maxed out at your Voyager’s level theywon’t gain XP for free. The best time to use Common XP is to get a hero one level below the Voyager so that they can level up together and make the most out of the free XP they’ll earn in battle.
To use Common XP, go to the character list and select the character you want to level up. Along the top left of the screen will be their current level next to the current maximum level. Press the plus next to their level to open the level-up menu and select how many levels you want them to gain. you’re able to only purchase entire levels at a time, withCommon XP transformed at a one-to-one ratio to XP for the hero.
