Summary

Traders play a vital role in7 Days To Die.Not only are they a way for players to buy new items and sell off their junk, but they also give out missions that the player can complete tohelp them level up, explore the map, and earn lots of great rewards.

Most players will pay the traders a visit on an almost daily basis. They will swap out the things that they don’t want for things like meds, better equipment, and maybe the occasional magazine. While there are lots of things that players can sell to traders for a profit, some things are best kept for later use.

Forges Smelting Materials In 7 Days To Die

7Brass And Lead

Craft Some Ammo

In the harsh world of7 Days To Die,more bullets equals a better chance at survival.Lead and brass are both core components required to craft most of the ammoin the game. Once the player unlocks the ability to place down a forge or two, they will need to smelt down as much brass and lead as possible in order to craft bullet cases and shells.

While lead can be mined, brass can not, so out of the two resources, brass is more valuable. However, both resources are needed for crafting most of the ammo types in the game.

Trader Rekt’s Magazine Collection In 7 Days To Die

6Unknown Magazines

Always Be A Keen Reader

Magazines play a big role in7 Days To Die.They are responsible for the player’s ability to craft things, inflict more damage with weapons, and mine more using tools. Over time, the player will end up completing magazine sets. When this happens, a small open book icon will appear next to the magazine.

If the player picks up a magazine with a closed book icon next to it, that means that the player either hasn’t read that particular book or hasn’t read enough to complete the set. It is important to keep and read any books that have that closed icon next to them. Not only are books crucial for crafting various items, but some of them will offer a set bonus once the player has read all of the books in a particular set.

Legendary Parts In 7 Days To Die

It’s worth noting that once the player has completed a book set, they should sell any excess magazines. While players do get some XP for reading known magazines, they will get XP and Dukes if they decide to sell them to the traders.

5Legendary Parts

Very Rare Items

Legendary Parts are required to craft any level 6 item. These parts are typically very hard to come by. Players can get some as a top-tier mission reward, or as loot. The best place to find these are Savage Country stores (which have lots of clothes), as Legendary Parts have a higher chance of spawning inside clothing piles.

Legendary Parts can’t be crafted by the player. This makes these parts pretty rare. Also, even if the player decides to sell some to a trader, they won’t get anywhere near as many Dukes as one would think.

A Box Of Food In 7 Days To Die

4Food

Stay Well-Fed

During the early stages of the game, food can seem rather difficult to come by. While this isn’t much of an issue during the later stages of the game,it is all too easy to run out of food if the player isn’t careful. If the player has set up a farm, then selling food to the traders can be a viable way to make some extra Dukes. But for those who don’t have their own farm, it’s important to hang onto every food item.

Also, some food items, like Old Sham Sandwiches, can be used to craft antibiotics. So, even if the player has no intention of eating a certain food type, it’s worth checking to see if that particular food is needed to craft other more useful items.

All Ammo Has Its Use

While the player will have a favorite type of firearm, it’s worth keeping all types of ammo.Ammo isn’t cheap to make or purchase.Even if it’s not an ammo type that the player uses, should the player run out of bullets for their favorite weapons, having other ammo lying around can be a real lifesaver.

This is particularly true for horde nights. Duringa Blood Moon, the player will find themselves going through countless rounds. In7 Days To Die,there’s no such thing as having too much ammo. So it’s worth stockpiling every type of ammo, just in case.

A Level 6 Machete In 7 Days To Die

1Level 6 Items

High Tier Items Always Come In Handy

Whether it’s weapons, tools, or armor pieces, level 6 items are expensive to craft and are often difficult to find. While most players will have their personal favorites in terms of weapons, tools, and armor, it’s worth hanging onto all top-tier items as they may come in handy further down the line.

Things liketop-tier armor setsand high-level weapons can be very useful. While they may fetch a pretty penny if sold to a trader, they are more likely to help the player gather more resources or kill enemies more efficiently. So, unless it is a duplicate, it’s worth hanging onto all level 6 items.
