Jujutsu Kaisenheld its fourth popularity poll a few months ago, and fans are finally treated to the full results in this week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. A few weeks ago, fans got the top three of the popularity poll being revealed to them, but the remaining positions were still kept under wraps. Of course, they were eventually going to be revealed, and all fans had to do was wait.
Now, in this week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, the full results of the 4th Popularity Poll of JJK have finally been revealed, and it is safe to say that there are quite a few surprises in there. The individuals that fans wouldn’t have guessed would make the top 50 are quite high up, while some of the other most popular characters don’t even show up in the polls.
The Top Three Most Popular Characters In Jujutsu Kaisen
Gojo, Yuji, And Megumi Take The First Three Positions In The Popularity Poll
The top three most popular characters inJujutsu Kaisenhave been somewhat consistent all the time, from the first popularity poll all the way to the fourth one. Fans know for a fact that the protagonist of the series, Yuji, is going to be among them. At the same time, Megumi, who fans know to be one of the most popular characters, was also always going to be there. Finally, Gojo, who is the Strongest Modern Sorcerer in the series, and, at the same time, the face of the entire franchise, would always have made the top three, and this time, he takes an even higher position. These three characters make the top three, and the positions are as follows:
#1 Gojo Satoru – 113392 Votes
Unsurprisingly, the guy taking up the top position in the JJK 4th Popularity Poll is none other than Gojo. He has been the face of the franchise for quite a while, and be it in Japan or internationally, Gojo was always going to finish number one.
Nah, I’d win! – Gojo Satoru
In fact, Gojo received quite a lot of votes and the difference between his position and the Number 2 position on the popularity poll is absolutely staggering. Regardless, it can be said that the number one spot was absolutely deserved for Gojo, given that he is the best character in this franchise by far.
#2 Yuji Itadori – 48131 Votes
The protagonist of the series, Yuji Itadori, takes up the second spot on the Popularity Poll, which just goes to show that despite not being as popular as Gojo, he’s well-loved by fans all over. Yuji gained a total of 48,131 votes, which was quite decent, however, the gap between him and Gojo, who occupies the top spot, is absolutely incredible.
Still, Yuji Itadori is there, along with the most popular characters, and that certainly goes to show that he is a decent protagonist, at the very least.
#3 Megumi Fushiguro – 28,502 Votes
Megumi Fushiguro drops down to the third position, and this has come as a shock to many readers. Megumi used to constantly occupy the top spot inJJKpopularity polls, but now, he has fallen to third place. While it is a shock for fans to see him this low, the author did treat him in a very strange way in the recent arcs ofJJK.
Megumi was essentially used as a tool for Sukuna to manifest his true self, and ever since then, he has hardly had any important role to play in the story. In fact,Megumi has been missing in action for over a year now, and, taking that into consideration, it is no surprise to see him drop this low.
Who Takes Up Position 4-10 in JJK’s 4th Popularity Poll?
The top three of JJK’s popularity Poll are certainly made up of some of the most interesting characters in the franchise, but there are other individuals as well who were previously unknown to fans. The characters come along with the number of votes they received, as has finally been revealed to the fans, and they are certainly very interesting, to say the least.
#4 Suguru Geto – 19156 Votes
On number four, fans get to see Suguru Geto, who has always been a very popular character. Even though Geto has not been involved in the story for quite a long time, his role in the Hidden Inventory Arc is enough for him to solidify a position this high among the fans.
Geto will always be loved, even though he is a villain, in the grand scheme of things.
#5 Naoya Zenin – 11731
Naoya is a character whose popularity cannot really be explained. He is hardly a character in the series, and there are no redeeming qualities about this individual. He is disliked by fans all over the world, except for those living in Japan, apparently. Naoya has a lot of fans, for some unknown reason, and it certainly is strange, because he hardly deserves the votes that were spent on him. Regardless, he does take up the fifth position on the popularity poll.
#6 Choso – 6247
Choso takes up the sixth position on the Popularity Poll this time around, and that certainly has been deserved. Given the role that he has played in the life of Yuji Itadori, and, more recently, the sacrifice that he made for him, it is no surprise for the fans to see him taking up the sixth spot.
#7 Yuta Okkotsu – 5991
Yuta Okkotsu has always been an incredibly important character in the series, and Gege has even treated him like a secondary main character on many occasions.
Yuta is loved by many, and at the same time, the fact that he has put ina solid performance in the Shinjuku Showdowncertainly means that he deserves the seventh position.
#8 Nanami – 4162
Kento Nanami is yet another character who solidified his position long ago in the story. Nanami was beloved by the fans even though he played his role in the story long ago. Nanami died in the Shibuya arc, and he has not played any role in the story ever since.
#9 Sukuna – 4077
The main villain of the entire series, Sukuna takes up the 9th spot on the list.
He alone is the Honored One! – The Narrator
This is the first time that Sukuna has broken into the top 10 in the Popularity Polls and given that he Has really put in quitea shift in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, there is no questioning the fact that he deserves this spot.
#10 Toji Fushiguro – 3218
Finally, the 10th position is takenby none other than Toji Fushiguro, who fans know to be an incredibly exciting villain. Toji solidified his position as a fan favorite during the Hidden Inventory Arc, where he stood in the path of Gojo Satoru. Of course, he ended up dying there, but was later resurrected in the Shibuya Incident arc, where he also excited the fans once more. Even though Toji has only a short role to play inJJK, his character has been immortalized, and fans will always love him.
