Yuji Unleashes A Powerful Black Flash Strike On Sukuna

The fight between Yuji and Sukuna was certainly a very exciting one. This battle was kick-started after the death of the strongest modern sorcerer, Gojo Satoru. Yuji Vs Sukuna was intense, but, at the same time, it must also be said that it was not the spectacle that the fight that preceded it was. Still, it was good enough for the fans to invest countless hours into it, and, at the same time, it certainly did deliver some absolutely majestic moments. Above all, this battle was great for Yuji Itadori, as he got the opportunity to showcase how he had grown in the story, and how he had now become a sorcerer capable of fighting even the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. At the same time, Yuji also showcased enough powers to not just combat but also overwhelm the King of Curses with his newfound abilities.

This is bad! At this rate…I will lose! – Sukuna

Yuji showcased powerssuch as Reverse Cursed Technique, barrier techniques, and he also manifested two innate techniques, one of them being Blood Manipulation, which he got through the consumption of the Death Paintings number 4 to 9, and the second being the Shrine cursed technique, which was imbued into him due to sharing a body with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

Yuji versus Sukuna was incredibly exciting for the fans, especially towards the end. As fans expected, Yuji eventually manifested a powerful domain and he did so by imbuing his innate technique into his barrier. Yuji’s domain remains to be quite a mystery and fans still don’t know exactly what it does. However, what can be said is that this domain expansion was plenty powerful and it boosted his stats tremendously. In a brawl inside the domain, Yuji was the dominant one, and his delivery of techniques was further enhanced by the fact that Megumi Fushiguro started waking up, and at the same time, Kugisaki Nobara delivered a powerful Resonance blow on the King of Curses as well.

Finally, the battle was ended by Yuji Itadori delivering an incredibly strong Black Flash directly to the gut of the King of Curses, completely crushing him in battle and sending him flying. The punch was so powerful that Sukuna broke through Yuji’s domain and was completely ripped from Megumi’s body, which meant that all the fingers that had been consumed were essentially spit out.

Sukuna’s Attempt To Regain Control Over Megumi

Sukuna’s Attempt To Subdue Megumi Fushiguro Failed

In an act of desperation, Sukuna triedto gain control over Megumi’s body.As was clearly seen inJJKchapter 268, sukuna tried to tell megumi that he would live a disgraceful life. Not only did he let himself get taken over, but at the same time, he also killed his own sister. He rejected his own friend and the helping hand that was given to him. He even killed his own sensei, and all these things combined cannot be returned from. According to Sukuna, Megumi would do better to give himself over to him, but, much to his surprise, Megumi rejected his message.

Being firm after seeing Yuji’s incredible resolve and effort to save him, Megumi finally wanted to live again, and with that, Sukuna’s final attempt to regain control over Megumi Fushiguro failed.

Just let yourself get taken over and leave the rest to me! – Sukuna

Because of this failed attempt,Sukuna was ripped from his bodyand left behind in a slime-like form. This was Sukuna’s true form after having survived for ages using various methods. Finally, Sukuna realized that he had lost the battle and that it was time for him to be crushed.

Yuji finally looked down upon him, after being abused by him for so long, and it was certainly fascinating for the fans to see. What made this even more exciting was that Sukuna was truly a pathetic creature at the end of things, and all his pride was stripped from him.

Sukuna’s Death In Jujutsu Kaisen

Sukuna Ended Up Dying After Losing To Yuji

Sukuna ended up dying in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc ofJujutsu Kaisen. After being ripped from Megumi’s body, Sukuna was left in a state of fear, because for the very first time, he was not the hunter. For the very first time, Sukuna was hunted, and he did not truly understand this feeling at all. This is because Sukuna had never felt this way in his life before. As he mentioned previously, he did what he wanted. When he wanted to eat, he ate. When he wanted to sleep, he slept. WhenSukuna wanted to destroy, he did whatever it took to satisfy his cravings. But, now, for the very first time, Sukuna saw that he was helpless and this completely switched his character. Sukuna was left in a state of fearfulness, where he had to forfeit his life to Yuji.

What’s even worse, Yuji Itadori wouldn’t even kill him. Yuji offered him yet another chance at life, asking him to stay with him and live his life by giving humanity a chance for the very first time. However, Sukuna would not have it. At the end of the day, Sukuna remained a prideful curse and essentially dissipated, rejecting Yuji’s humanity, and dying in his own puddle of fear, shame, and failure.

At the end ofJujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna met a very pathetic end, which was certainly fitting in one way, but, at the same time, it was also way too rushed. Sukuna certainly deserved a better end, and, more importantly, Yuji deserved a better final performance against the King of Curses. All in all, fans know that the author suffered from many health-related issues, which likely sped up the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen, but, the conclusion of this fight was underwhelming, to say the least, and fans can only hope that the upcoming chapters make up for it in one way or another. Now,with the battle in Shinjuku finally over, the last three chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen will focus on the overview of Japan as a whole and show fans how the world has changed and what they should expect from the story moving on.
