Jujutsu Kaisenis nearing its end with each passing chapter, and fans are incredibly excited to witnessthe final battle between Yuji and Sukunatake shape, which is sure to excite the fans. This battle has already started, and has done wonders in regards to creating a gripping atmosphere, and ensuring that the series ends on a high.
While Yuji’s battle versus Sukuna is certainly going to be illustrated in the best of ways, it might not be the final fight of the series as many fans assume. There might be more battles to come, and one of them could potentially see Yuji team up with none other than Megumi Fushiguro, who he is desperately trying to save right now.
Yuji Vs Sukuna Inside His Domain
Yuji Will Unleash His Powers On Sukuna Soon
Yuji Itadori is currently fighting against Sukunainside his own domain. Much to the surprise of the fans, Yuji wasted absolutely no time in trying to open his domain in his battle against Sukuna. When he progressed greatly in terms of cursed techniques in the battle, fans knew that they should expect a domain expansion from him. It was only a matter of time before Yuji showcased that he had the tools required to craft a perfect domain. Not only could he use barrier techniques, but at the same time, he now awakened the Shrine cursed technique as well.
Combining the two, he created a powerful domain expansion, the powers of which remain unknown at this point in time. Yuji and Sukuna were seen in limbo, traveling through Japan inJJKchapter 265. Both Yuji and Sukuna were unsure if this was his domain, but, this was Yuji’s last attempt to get Sukuna to change, before the battle finally began. Unfortunately for him, regardless of what he went onto show Sukuna, the King of Cursesdid not have a change of heart, which meant that fans were going to be treated to an incredible battle. In the upcoming chapters of JJK, fans will most definitely get to see an exciting battle begin and Yuji’s domain will shine in this clash.
Domain Expansion! – Yuji Itadori
As was made clear by Yuji himself in the previous chapter, the goal here is to get Sukuna to relinquish control over Megumi and return to his body. If Sukuna does that, Yuji is willing to spare him. If Sukuna rejects the offer, then, Yuji has no choice but to kill him, which he fully believes he can. For Yuji, everything is centered around Megumi. He wants to save Megumi at all costs, but it is not going to be easy. Fans do believe, however, that Yuji is going to be able to pull this off.

Megumi Fushiguro Will Definitely Return Soon Enough
Yuji’s upcoming battle against Sukunais most likely going to result in the defeat of the King of curses, Yuji’s ascension to the position of one of the strongest sorceries to ever exist in history, and, most importantly, the rescue of Megumi Fushiguro. Fans already know that Yuji’s soul dismantle technique can separate Sukuna and Megumi, and inside the domain, where Yuji can utilize his Sure-Hit Technique, he can most likely get the King of Curses to separate from Megumi. This is precisely what he is banking on, and it is going to be incredibly exciting to see how he manages to pull this off.
Regardless of how he does it, however, what fans can be sure about is that Megumi is going to return at some point later down the line, because it is absolutely essential to the plot. That is not to say that fans expect to conclude Megumi’s character arc perfectly. Gege has already shown that he can butcher characters simply for shock value, and he has done that on many occasions in the past. Still, Megumi is too important of a character to be dealt with that way. At the very least, fans can hope that Megumi is going to be saved, because otherwise, the entire arc is going to be pointless.
Fans would do well to work under the assumption that Megumi is going to return at some point later down the line. And to do that, Yuji will have to defeat Sukuna. However, it is not necessary for Sukuna to be permanently put down even if Yuji does defeat him. This is because in order for the story to completely end, the plot point surrounding the merger needs to be dealt with as well. It was introduced for a reason, and currently,Sukuna holds the key to the merger for a reason. He clearly mentioned that after he beats all the sorcerers, he will decide whether he wants to go ahead with it or not. However, if his back is against the wall and there is nothing else he can do, then, perhaps the merger is going to be the best way forward for him.

If Yuji does successfully manage to save Megumi, then, fans will most likely see these two individuals team upagainst the King of Curses, Sukuna. At that point, it would likely be incorrect to refer to the person as Sukuna, given that the merger will have officially kick-started. Japan as a whole, and possibly even more of the world, could be completely changed and the result is something that fans cannot even predict right now. Sukuna will likely turn into some kind of monstrosity, which means that Yuji will likely not be capable of dealing with him alone. This is precisely where Megumi comes in, and fans know that he will try his best to deal with the king of curses in the best way possible. This is precisely where fans will get to see Yuji and Megumi team up, and it will be an exciting battle that will live up to all expectations.

Fans absolutely cannot wait to see Megumi again, especially after he’s been away for so long. He is a beloved character after all, and one that has consistently ranked above Yuji in most popularity polls. For him to be cut away from the manga for so long is certainly not good for the story. Fans hope to see him soon, teaming up with Yuji and defeating the King of Curses in a decisive final battle.
Of course, in order to get there, Yuji first has to deal with Sukuna himself, and rescue Megumi from his clutches, which might not be as easy as it sounds. Still, he is the main character, and readers expect him to take full advantage of his moment to shine and rescue his best friend.
