As gamers traverse through the various manors inLuigi’s Mansion 2, they’ll come across all sorts of gems. It might come as a surprise to some fans, but even though Secret Mine only has three missions, it has the same number of gems as the other mansions. This means that gamers will find more sapphires in a mission than they would’ve normally while exploring any of the mansions they visited before.
This guide will tell players the locations of the 13 sapphires hidden in the Secret Mine mansion.
Secret Mine Gem Locations
Here are all the sapphires hidden in the Secret Mine mansion inLuigi’s Mansion 2:

Smokehouse (F1)
Use the Dark-Light Device on the hanger to make a yellow cloth appear. Suck up the two handcloths to uncover a hidden compartment with the gem inside.

Fishing Hut (F1)
Use the Poltergust 5000 to vacuum the southwestern corner of the room and get the sapphire.

Under the Ice (B1)
Grab the Toad using the Poltergust 5000, then walk into the geiser to get to the top. Throw the toad into the mineshaft so he can break the ice down below. Next, slide down to retrieve the gem.

High Wires (B1)
Grab a wire to get to the other side and then use the Poltergust 5000 on the bird’s nest to get the gem.

Airway (B1)
Access Airway through Terminal to interact with the telescope. Look in the cave by the bridge to spot the sapphire. A bat will then grab it and hide it in the barrel by the elevator. Go back to the lower area of Airway and get it.

Chalet Approach (F1)
Go outside, light the stove and then grab the chicken. Use it to melt the ice block that contains the portrait with the gem. Then, use the Dark-Light Device to retrieve it.

Prospector’s Crossing (B1)
Use Dark-Light on the wall by the southeastern corner of the room to reveal an axe. Spin it around to acquire logs, which can then be placed on the ice to break it and get the gem.

Skip Slope (B2)
Go down the slope and turn right to grab the gem. This can be tricky, as you will have to go through the wheel in order to get into the path on the right. Thankfully, there is an E-Gate at the bottom, allowing you to quickly get back to the top of the slope.

Shaft (B2)
Go down the shaft then pull on the chain once you reach the bottom. Then, go back up to retrieve the sapphire gem.

Deep Hall (B3)
Start the machines in the Pit Mine to get coal into the Deep Hall.
Then, grab a piece of coal, heat it in the campfire, and shoot it at the gem stuck to the ceiling.

Crossroads (B1)
Go through the E-Gate and thenuse Dark-Light; spirit balls will appear on the other side of the room so travel back through the E-Gate to vacuum them. Then, after going through the portal once again, vacuum the snow next to the wooden box to get the gem.

Crystal Quarry (B3)
This gem can only be captured in D-3 and the bonus mission in Secret Mines. To get it, go down to the Crystal Quarry and activate the E-Gate near the crystals. This will teleport Luigi back to the Chalet and reveal the gem.

While in the Gondola, shoot hot coal at the ice blocks near the bottom of the tree. Now, return to High Wires and cross the log to reach the outhouse, which will bring Luigi to a secret dimension. Grab snowballs and hit each of the three ghosts within 60 seconds to receive the gem.
Rewards for Collecting All Secret Mine Gems
Once players find and retrieve every gem in Secret Mine, they’ll receive a statue of Luigi with a base decorated with sapphires. On top of this, they’ll also be a step closer to completing Professor E. Gadd’s Vault and receiving one of thethree save file medals.
