The two supporting roles are deep-cut characters that a significant portion of the game’s audience may not be aware of. They aren’t new characters made just forRise of Hydra, as both Gabriel Jones and Nanali have been part of the Marvel canon for decades.
One of the most exciting aspects of Gabriel Jones being part ofRise of Hydra’s story is that he’s amember of the Howling Commandos. The Howling Commandos were a special forces unit led by the one and only Nick Fury, and Gabriel Jones being connected to this group promises a compelling story for his character. Superheroes are incredibly interesting, but sometimes the stories of everyday individuals in otherworldly circumstances can be the most intriguing.
