McDonald’s is known for some exciting and interesting collaborations over the years, from Disney toUniversalto anime, but the latest release has the fast-food chain going back to its roots for a fan-favorite collection.

McDonald’s is the biggest fast-food restaurant in America. From the Play Place ball pits, to the Nintendo video game stations, to the iconic lineup of toys released throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, McDonald’s has been a staple of American culture for several decades. Over the years, the chain has released a variety of collaborations with various companies and artists, including K-pop group BTS, Travis Scott, Cactus Plant Flea Market,Marvel’s original seriesLoki, and the popular animeJujutsu Kaisen. This latest announcement, however, takes the Golden Arches back to their roots.

Starting August 13, McDonald’s will bereleasing its Collector’s Meal, featuring a lineup of six collectible cups adorned with various popular franchises and characters from their previous toy releases. McDonald’s collector’s cups are not a new idea, as the chain has released items in the past featuring Garfield, Disney characters, Batman characters, and more, although it has been some time since a new collection has been announced. The Collector’s Meal is a way for “longtime fans to relive treasured moments and help a new generation make their own lasting memories,” according to the company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer.
