Reddit user Aaaaaaaaaaaaahh3 recently shared an image of their ant farm-likeMinecraftbase. Because their base is two-dimensional, seemingly every aspect of it can be seen from this single screenshot. Ladders and stairs connect each section, with farms and a lava room on the top left, a pool with the beginnings of a farm set up on the right, an Enchantment room in the middle, and a storage room at the bottom. The farms don’t simply include crops like wheat and carrots, but there’s alsoMinecraftNether Wart, Kelp, and various livestock. A row of furnaces connected to Redstone suggests that the duo has an automated smelting system. The bedroom is two floors underground which may be enough space to avoid the pop-up that monsters are nearby, preventing the players from sleeping.
These Minecraft Players Built an Ant Farm Base
Although most rooms are built with a specific function in mind, some areas also look prepped for future additions. The key reason that this base has been compared to an ant farm is the fact that it was built in a large flat area of Sand. Beyond looking like an ant farm, this base also resembles a PC motherboard, with offshoots that look like ports intended for RAM and a processor. Given that the Reddit user hasn’t confirmed which game mode it was made in, it’s unclear if it’s built forMinecraftSurvivalpurposes or if it’s just a Creative project. Because there are doors leading behind the ant farm design, there may be more to the base on the other side.
