Storage

If you’re only interested in running the game without any bells and whistles like ray tracing or high visual settings, a low-to-mid-end PC should be sufficient. For the GPU, a GTX 1060 or RX 580 will do the job, especially when paired with a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1600.

This setup should allow you to run the game at medium settings in 1080p. You’ll also need 6 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of RAM. As for storage, 130 GB on an HDD will be enough, though the developer recommends using an SSD for better performance.

GPU

GeForce GTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT or Arc A750

130 GB SSD

This is the setting most players will likely use. To run the game at 1080p resolution with good visuals, you’ll need a GTX 2060 or RX 5700 XT GPU, paired with a Core i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 5500 CPU. The VRAM and RAM requirements remain the same as before. However, anSSD becomes essential for storageat this level.

GeForce RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT

12 GB

32 GB

For high-end gamers who care about resolution more than ray tracing, the recommended GPU is either the RTX 4070 or the RX 7800 XT. The CPU requirements remain unchanged here, but the VRAM and RAM requirements increase to 12 GB and 32 GB, respectively.

None of the system requirements reveal the expected framerate, so it’s unclear whether these specs are meant for 30 FPS or 60 FPS. Additionally, all the requirements weretested with upscaling technology,so players who prefer native resolution will need even more powerful hardware.

For players who areaddicted to their accurate reflections and shadows, they’ll be pleased to know thatBlack Myth: Wukongoffers ray tracing features. However, enabling these features won’t come cheap. The PC requirements, especially the GPU, have become significantly higher, though the same CPU as mentioned above should suffice.

The GPU requirements for ray tracing are as follows:

You may have noticed that no AMD Radeon cards were mentioned in the RT section above. This might be due to the superior ray tracing performance of Nvidia GeForce cards, but that doesn’t mean AMD cards can’t utilize these features — they just might not perform as well as their Nvidia counterparts.

So, if you arerocking a RX 7900 GREor above, then go ahead and crank up those sweet Ray Tracing features and enjoyBlack Myth: Wukongin all its glory.

The game could also perform well on theupcoming AMD RDNA 4 GPUs, which are rumored to have much-improved ray-tracing capabilities, but that’s just speculation for now.
