All Competitive Ranks & Rewards In MultiVersus

InMultiVersus, there aresix different competitive ranksthat players can work their way through. Players can choose to play either 1v1 or 2v2 matches in ranked mode. However, to participate in competitive play, you will first need to meet the following requirements:

InMultiVersuscompetitive play, your rank is determined byRank Points (RP)and involvesskill-based matchmaking. After completing a match, your RP will be altered in real-time, depending on your win or loss, and may be more dramatically affected by more unbalanced matches (such as winning against a player the system considers stronger/higher up in your Rank).

This means that as you accumulate RP, you will be able to reach the next Rank up and achieve new rewards. Every mode and Fighter has an individual rank, meaning you could be aDiamond level Shaggy player, but a Silver Finn player — enabling you to figure out which characters you are most proficient with and focus on them, or hone your skills and climb up on characters you consider yourself to be weaker at in play.

As you progress through the ranks, players will have the opportunity to earn permanentexclusive Fighter Variants, along with Banners and Badges that you may use to show off your proficiency with a chosen character. Silver and Gold-rank Badges are awarded immediately upon ranking up, while other cosmetic rewards will be unlocked at the end of a respective competitive season.
