The Progress Of The Students From UA After The End Of The War

Izuku Midoriya Made Lives Better After Losing Out On His Powers

My Hero Academia chapter 430 began similarly to how the first chapter of the story did. This was something done intentionally by the author and it needed to be done because fans know that at the beginning of the story, Deku is speaking about his own tale of how he became the greatest hero. The author had to touch upon it at some point in time, and this was the perfect opportunity for him to do that. Deku began by saying that not everyone is born equal in the world, and fans already know that despite that, he went on to conquer his weaknesses and fulfill the dream that he had. Despite not having a quirk, Deku went on to acquire power, make this power his own, and become the greatest Hero of all time. This was a very prized dream for him that he ended up giving up in the final war. Now, My Hero Academia made it quite clearthat Deku was Quirkless once againand he did not have the power that he was entrusted with. Of course, fans knew that Deku held the embers of his powers after the conclusion of the war. However, in the coming 2 years, that is, by the time Deku graduated, his embers had burnt out, which meant that he did not holdthe power of One For Allanymore.

Fans saw various students from Deku’s class graduate, and they all went different ways, going on to become Pro Heroes. Deku, on the other hand, had a different life cut out for himself. Without a quirk, he could not be a Pro Hero, which is rather weird, given that All Might set the idea that even with scientific technology, one can become a Hero. Perhaps, it is the cost required to create a properly functioning scientific equipment that held back Deku from being a Hero following his graduation, but he knew that he had other ways in which he could aid society and still act like a Hero.

The 8-Year Timeskip At The End Of My Hero Academia

The biggest part of My Hero Academia chapter 430 was when the 8-year timeskip was finally showcased to the fans. There is absolutely no denying the fact that fans expected a timeskip to happen in the last chapter of My Hero Academia. However, most of them had hoped for a 2-year timeskip. Surprisingly, fans saw a 17-year-old Deku turn 25 at the end, and it was certainly quite a jump. For these 8 years, Deku had worked relentlessly at UA. It was revealed to the fans that he had become a teacher, and that he was respected by students far and wide. He was still known as one of the greatest Heroes of all time, and the savior of the world. Children from all over Japan admired Deku deeply for his efforts and dreamed of becoming like him. At the same time, his experience in teaching was proven to be invaluable to the students at UA, who were hoping to become great Heroes themselves.

Unfortunately for Deku, the fact that he was not a Hero anymore meant that his contact with his friends was limited. They were all busy with their day-to-day hero lives, while Deku was working as a teacher in school, which meant that there was little he could do to arrange time with them. Such is the life of an adult.

Fans also got to see the next generation of Heroes being focused on inMy Hero Academiachapter 430. Dai is a character who fans saw being put in a similar situation to Deku at the beginning of the series. Only, in his case, hewas born with the Quirk. Dai’s Quirk, however, was said to be not a powerful one in any way. It was just a Quirk that allowed him to produce plates from his hair. He was deemed unfit to become a Hero by many, that is, until he met Deku near All Might’s statue. Deku said the same words to him that All Might told him back at the beginning of the series, and reassured him that he too can become a Hero as long as his body moves involuntarily to save others.

Deku Becomes A Hero Once Again

Deku Received A Gift From Fellow Students That Let Him Soar Once Again

Deku and Dai’s conversation is whereMy Hero Academiawas shown to end at first. However, the author surprised the fans by taking the story one step further when All Might popped up at the very end. All Might had a gift for Deku, and it was revealed that science has made great progress over the last 8 years. Deku now had Hero equipment made for him with help from Melissa and Dave, and Mei aiding them in the development of this technology.

The funding came through Bakugo and all the students of class 1A, and with that, Deku finally got to become a Hero once again. This was certainly an exciting end, but of course, fans would have loved it if One For All could have been saved somehow. Still, the ending was quite satisfactory as Deku was able to reunite with his friends once again, and head out to help people in need. That is Deku’s true nature, and fans were grateful to see him not being left behind at the end forever.

You deserve this power as well, young Midoriya! – All Might

While the end wasn’t perfect in any way, it was still a satisfactory conclusion to the story. Still, there are many plot points in My Hero Academia that were left unfulfilled, but, there could be more to come from this series later down the line that answers some lingering questions the fans may have. For now, this is how the 10-year journey of Izuku Midoriya came to an end.
