My Hero Academiachapter 430 marked the conclusion of the series in the most emphatic ways, and, certainly, there was division among the fans in regards to Deku and his powers. Ever since the idea of Deku losingthe powers of One For Allwas introduced by the author, there was dissatisfaction among the readers because a lot of them did not want this story to go down in that direction. Deku earned the power of the One For All fair and square, and he worked incredibly hard to be a worthy user of this power inMHA.
It is safe to say that Deku was more worthy than any other user of this power, and because of all that, he became as great as he was towards the end of the series. However, at the same time, Deku also knew that he had to make sacrifices to end the war. This eventually led to him becoming Quirkless and, at the same time, being awarded a completely different power in the form of battle armor, similar to the one All Might wore at the end of the story.

DeJu Transferred The One For All By His Own Volition
Deku was certainlythe greatest user of One For Allthat fans saw in the entirety ofMy Hero Academia. He was the ninth user of the Quirk, after he inherited it from none other than Yagi Toshinori, also known as All Might. Deku became incredibly powerful with this ability. Of course, he had to train his body to be worthy of wielding this power in the first place, and that certainly took him quite a lot of time. By the time of the war, Deku could channel not just the power of the One For All, but that of many other Quirks that were given to him by the many vestiges of the One For All.
Goodbye, One For All! – Izuku Midoriya
His powers were absolutely majestic, however, they were still not enough for him to defeat Shigaraki for good, even though he could overwhelm him with them. Deku knew that a bigger sacrifice needed to be made in order to defeat him, and that is precisely where the idea of giving up the One For All came into existence. Deku had to transfer the vestiges one by one inside of Shigaraki’s body in order to probe into his biggest weakness and unearth them, bringing them to the surface in the process. In order to do that, Deku transferred all the quirks that he had inside of him, and this eventually included the One For All as well. Shigaraki’s past was brought to the surface, which crippled him mentally.
Eventually, Deku was able to land powerful blows on him and deal substantial damage, but that is also where All For One came in and took control of Tenko. This left a very difficult choice of eliminating him for good, and that is exactly what he did. With the final punch that Deku delivered, both All For One and Shigaraki were eliminated at the same time, and with that, Deku essentially became Quirkless for good.
That said, he did havethe embers of the One For Allinside of him for quite a bit. This is similar to how All Might had embers of the quirk after transferring it to Deku. He made use of these embers for the upcoming years, but, by the time of the graduation, these embers had burnt out, which meant Deku was officially Quirkless after his graduation.
Deku’s New Armor Was Gifted To Him By All Might In MHA 430
Deku’s Armor Was Funded By Katakuri Bakugo And Other Friends
Fans were quite disappointed at seeing Deku without any power at the end ofMy Hero Academia.This left a sour taste in the mouths of the readers, especially after knowing that all his friends had now become Pro Heroes, and were making a great name for themselves.Bakugo and Shoto were both competing with each other, with Aizawa even commenting that Shoto would eventually go on to surpass the former because of his nature. At the same time, the likes of Kamui Woods and Mt Lady were seen close to the top hero positions as well, with Mirio taking the number one spot. Deku being left out to fold this certainly was not going to sit well with the fans and it definitely didn’t.
You have earned this power too, young Midoriya! – All Might
Fans were hoping for there to be some sort of saving grace for Deku, and that is precisely where the armor came in. Towards the very end of My Hero Academia, fans finally got to see All Might once again, and he delivered an armor to Deku. According to him, this armor was crafted by his friend in the US, which likely meant that Melissa Shield and Dave worked on it. Mei also lent her help to them to complete this armor. On the financial side of things, Bakugo did the brunt of the work in order to make this a reality, and all the other friends that Deku had chipped in as well.
Together, everyone ended up creating this reality for Midoriya, and he certainly deserved this power, as was made clear by All Might. On the very last page of My Hero Academia, Deku donned the armor once again and joined his friends on patrol duty, as now, he is a Hero once again, meaning that Horikoshi ended up giving him the wings that he always deserved, and a chance at becoming a Hero once again.
How Strong Will Armored Deku Be?
Armored Deku is certainly going to be very powerful. Fans have not seen his capabilities as of yet, but, there are certainly hints in the last chapter that imply that his level of strength is incredibly high. For one, fans know for a fact that science has advanced greatly over the last 8 years since the conclusion of the war. This was directly mentioned by All Might in the chapter. This essentially means that the armor that he is wearing is much stronger and more advanced than the one that was wornby All Might himself. At the same time, he also suggested that Deku tapped the power of multiple Quirks long ago. This means that whatever armor Deku has likely has the abilities of the quirks that he possessed through One For Allmand the vestiges. Of course, their mechanical versions are going to be starkly different, but he has similar powers inside.
Overall strength, fans can say that Deku is likely going to be as strong as he was during the time of the war. This is simply down to the fact that All Might was able to fight on aneven footing against All For Onein the final war. Of course, All For One was distracted and did not know how to counter his abilities, but it cannot be denied that his powers were absolutely sensational. Now, fans need to keep in mind that Deku’s abilities are going to be astronomically superior to that of All Might in the final war. This puts him on a very high level, and, at the very least, fans can properly say that he is now a worthy Hero and that he will be competing for the position of Number One later down the line.
