Kishimoto’s Samurai 8 Series Was A Massive Failure
Samurai 8 Was Based On Hachimaru’s Journey
Masashi Kishimoto certainly found great success with Naruto, but that wasn’t always the case. In fact, Kishimoto is an author who has had mixed success with all his stories. Kishimoto did not want to go on a permanent break after writing Naruto. He spoke of wanting to spend time with his family, but, eventually, he did plan on returning to writing more manga. However, Samurai 8 failed to pick up popularity among the fans and, eventually, was marked with failure. Samurai 8 was axed from Shonen Jump, and the manga, unfortunately, did not last. This was a major failure on Kishimoto’s behalf, and he has, since then, not attempted to draw a new manga.
