Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtreefeatures a plethora of side quests, and Needle Knight Leda’s questline is one of the most interesting ones as it gives players a number of critical choices to make. Needle Knight Leda is one of the first NPCs players will encounter when they kickstart their journey in the Land of Shadows.
Once players enter the Land of Shadows, they will not be able to encounter Leda until they progress further in the region. Precisely, players will need to get to Scadu Altus before they will be able to meetNeedle Knight Leda. There are a couple of messages that players can find from Leda along the way, but those are not quite necessary. The first one is found after defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion and then taking the lift towards the stairs. The second message is found right at Miquella’s Cross near theCastle Ensis Site of Grace.
Where To Find Needle Knight Leda In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?
The first time players can meet Needle Knight Leda in the Land of Shadows is at the Highroad CrossSite of Grace which is located in Scadu Altus. There are two ways to reach this area. Firstly, players can simply beat Rellana and get here. If players choose to beatRellana, it should be noted that they can use Needle Knight Leda as a summon in that battle. The other way is to simply use the Spiritspring near Fort Reprimand to reach this area too.
This is a critical point in the game, as a lot of quests can change depending on what the player does next. Players should complete all their NPC dialogues before going to the Shadow Keep, as that will causeMiquella’s charm to breakand progress a lot of side quests. So one should try to exhaust all dialogues with NPCs likeHornsent, Dryleaf Dane,Moore, etc. before heading for the Shadow Keep. Additionally, Leda will have more dialogue options if players come to her after speaking with Hornsent and Dane, so players should do that as well.
Once that’s done, head towards the Shadow Keep until you get the message of the great rune and powerful charm breaking. This will unlock more dialogue options for Leda, and she will ask the player who she should pursue. The options here are inconsequential since she ends up choosing Hornsent in the end anyway. If players chooseThiolliershe will deny it, and the other two choices lead to Hornsent being chosen.
Leda Questline Shadow Keep Choices Explained
This is where things get tricky and players will need to take sides. To find the summon signs, players will need to head to the Main Gate Plaza Site of Grace which unlocks after beating theGolden Hippopotamus boss. From there, continue following the path on the left until you reach the bridge with boats. The summon signs can be found on the right side. Here are the choices explained.
Do nothing
The next step will only be available for players if they don’t do anything or help Leda. Also, players will need to completeSir Ansbach’s questline in the Shadow Keep and give him the Secret Rite Scrollwhich is found in the Specimen Storehouse Fourth Floor as well as the Seventh Floor. Once that’s done, players can head to Storehouse, First Floor to find the summon signs where Ansbach was present. Here are the available choices.
How To Get Leda’s Armor
The next encounter withNeedle Knight Leda will be with her allies, and it is quite a tricky battle. Using Spirit Ashes such as the Mmic Tear can make the battle easier, but it still going to be quite difficult. Players should attempt to isolate the allies and take them out one by one instead of trying to take on all of them once. After the Needle Knight Leda battle is done, players will be able to get Leda’s Armor from the arena.
