SinceStranger Thingsseason 5 is definitely going to featurethe scary Upside Down location,it would be satisfying to explain why Will lived when others didn’t. When fans look back on this storyline,Will was young, innocent, and terrified. While he’s had a coming-of-age journey along with the other main characters, he has grown up a lot in the past few seasons and is a different person now than he was back inStranger Thingsseason 1. He wasn’t quite as strong-willed or tough and while fans are happy that he survived, there are still many questions surrounding how such a young kid could get out of such a dangerous situation.

Since the story started with Will’s disappearance, it would make sense if it ended withWill playing a pivotal role in making sure Hawkins will be safe from Vecnaand the othermonsters in the Upside Downforever.

“Obviously, we hope for a coming out scene, and I also want to see them address this connection to the Mind Flayer and how that fits into the world.
