Summary

Hunting is one of the many pastimes inRed Dead Redemption 2,and one player has found a nifty way to fill their pockets full of unlimited cash simply by killing and skinning rabbits in a new glitch. While the Wild West title by Rockstar Games is jam-packed with shootouts, robberies, and dramatic story moments, players can also find other ways to enjoy its open-world playground, one of which is heading off on a leisurely hunt.Hunting is a major part ofRed Dead Redemption 2,and with over 500 animals roaming around its lands, there are plenty of creatures to track down, from legendary bears, wolves, and bucks to smaller fry like birds, squirrels, muskrats, and raccoons.

Of course, most players usually don’t just track down wild games for the fun of it. By selling pelts to traders, players can bag themselves a nice wad of cash depending on the quality of the skin, so making sure hunting skills are up to par, too, is all part of the Wild West experience. In between many ofRed Dead Redemption 2’sother mini-games, some players take great pleasure in just the thrill of the hunt, and with cute little bunny rabbits around almost every tree, tracking them down makes for some of the game’s easiest prey.

In a post on Reddit, user Electronic-Movie9361 discussed how their friend ended up with an unlimited source of money while hunting rabbits due to a strange, yet beneficial, glitch inRed Dead Redemption 2. Glitches certainly aren’t a new discovery in the open-world game, as there’s quite a humorous incident whereArthur Morgan gets shot into the air due to a weird bridge glitch, not to mention pesky bugs that would see players get completely stuck when entering a stable. But this time, a new rabbit-killing anomaly ended up netting the player boundless money resources while they were “running over rabbits for fun.” It seems as though the player skinned one rabbit, the game glitched, and it ended up giving them 71,001 rabbit carcasses, which they then sold for nearly $100,000.

Even though the rabbit pelts were in poor condition, they still managed to earn a lot of money for them. There is the possibility that they could continue killing bunnies to accumulate endless bags of cash while the glitch is still active, but this has yet to be proven. Either way, it seems to be one way to rack up quite a lot of dough without too much effort. Electronic-Movie9361 also states that their friend became even more ambitious once they found out there was an achievement for it that required players to get three perfect quality rabbit pelts to complete rank 2 inRed Dead Redemption 2’s Master Hunter Challenges.

Coupled with many other strange and unexpected glitches found within the game and outside of the rabbit money glitch, there’s also abug that turnsRed Dead Redemption 2’ssky red, giving its landscapes a really eerie vibe. While encountering bugs inRed Dead Redemption 2can be a frustrating experience for players, this particular money-grabbing bunny malfunction certainly isn’t a bad situation to come across, especially when looking for a simple method to get rich quickly.
