In a new statement from Sega, courtesy ofVideo Games Chronicle, the publisher claims it will “complete its lineup” of playable titles at the Sega exhibit by including an unannounced project. Nothing about the title is known, other than it will be revealed over Sega’s social channels. The wording of “unannounced project” means that this game hasn’t already been showcased before, so it’s unlikely to be some of the revivals that the publisher previously announced, liketheCrazy Taxireboot.

Possible Sega Games For Gamescom 2024

Another possible game that could be showcased at Gamescom isa title recently trademarked by Sega, supposedly titled “Yakuza Wars.” Based on this trademark, it could be a subtitle for the nextLike a Dragongame, or a completely unrelated game from the series. For the time being, fans will need to wait for more information about what Sega is planning for Gamescom.

In terms of what is known, Sega announced that there would be plenty of photo opportunities. A giant seeker statue fromMetaphor: ReFantaziowill be present at Sega’s booth, giving fans a chance to take a picture with it. Not only that, as a part ofSega’s Year of Shadow celebration, fans will be able to take a picture of a custom-built Shadow the Hedgehog-themed motorcycle. Sonic will also be in attendance posing for photos with the fans. Alongside these photo ops, bothMetaphor Re: FantazioandSonic X Shadow Generationswill have hands-on demos that players can try out, which likely will be the same demos that were previously available to play during Summer Game Fest this past June.
