Bethesda Game Studios’Fallout 76has received a steady stream of new content since it launched in late 2018. In June, a completely new region was added to the online action RPG viaFallout 76’s Skyline Valley update, which also introduced more quests and items. The next major update for the game, Milepost Zero, will also provide players with a lot of fresh content, but all of this can only be accessed after a full reinstall.
Due to a repackaging effort that will makeFallout 76’s overall game size smaller, players must redownload the title when its Milepost Zero update drops on September 3, Bethesda’s official support account on Twitter explained in a recent post. People were also informed thatFallout 76is scheduled to go offline at 10 AM Eastern Time on that day to enable the new update to be applied. Some Twitter users questioned the need to redownload the game, while others welcomed the effort to makeFallout 76smaller.
Fallout 76 Milepost Zero Update Release Date
The industry is currently filled withgames that have extremely large file sizes. The latter should change the game’s pacing by giving players something to do in between the events ofFallout 76, the game’s creative director, Jon Rush, revealed in a recent interview. Milepost Zero will alsoreworkFallout 76’s Legendary crafting system, which was introduced in the game’s Nuclear Winter update from 2019.
