There’s plenty of loot to be crafted, bought, or plundered inOnce Human, and if you want your Meta to be as strong as they can be, you’ll need to equip good gear with some decent mods that boost their power. This is where Sproutlets come in.
Sproutlets are a type of currency used to purchase some powerful mods from one of the in-game vendors. Gettingthe best weapons inOnce Humanisn’t enough — you need to equip mods to truly maximize their potential, and as it happens, you’re going to need plenty of Sproutlets to get some of the best mods available in the season.
How To Get Sproutlets
Sproutlets are a type of currency you can get by doing the Cargo Scramble public event. Specifically, you need to attack a Rosetta transport truck and claim the Sproutlets it’s carrying. As ofa recentOnce Humanupdate, this truck will always be driving around the highways of the Red Sands region at around 9-10PM in-game. Either hit the truck to make it stop, or look at your map and see if the truck has already been stopped by someone else.
Once the truck gets pulled over, a PvP event will begin. One player within the area will have a jellyfish stuck to their head, becoming “infected.” The infected player can earn Sproutlets by defeating enemies within the event area — this includes other players. Stick around and attempt to stay alive for as long as possible as the infected to earn Sproutlets.
How To Use Sproutlets
As of writing, Sproutlets can only be used to purchase items from Nisa, one of the recurring NPC vendors who can always be found in the main settlement of each region. She’s the Deviation NPC with a jellyfish for a head. Her exact position varies per settlement, but given her unique appearance, she’s pretty hard to miss. You can often find Nisa along with other settlement vendors.
Nisa sells a bunch of items, including somefuel for your vehicle inOnce Human, as well as Acid, Controllers,Stardust Source, and a skin for the motorcycle. However, the most important items in Nisa’s inventory are the seasonal weapon mods. All of these cost 1000 Sproutlets each, and they offer very powerful bonuses for specific weapon effects and playstyles. Here are a few examples of mods (including their Exclusive Attributes:
