Sanji is one of the most crucialmembers of the Straw Hat Pirates, both in terms of the role he serves on the ship and the battlefield. Sanji is a force to be reckoned with, and rightly so, given that he is one of the Wings of the Pirate King, and Luffy’s very own number 3. He is incredibly powerful, and over the years, he has gone on to fight many characters and surpassed them as well.
In the Egghead Island Arc ofOne Piece, Sanji has hit a level of power where he has showcased enough to have pulled ahead of many strong individuals that fans have seen over the years.
5Doflamingo
Doflamingo is an intriguing characterwho once served as a Shichibukai inOne Piece. With the power of the awakened Ito Ito no Mi, he could produce and manipulate sharp strings at will. In terms of Haki, Doflamingo was average. Still, his overall skill was strong enough to see him content with some of the most powerful pirates in the New World, such as Luffy before Gear 4.
However, Doflamingo is not yet on a level where he can pose any sort of threat to Sanji. Given the level Sanji has hit, he wouldn’t even break a sweat dealing with Doflamingo in combat right now.
4Charlotte Katakuri
Charlotte Katakuri is the second son of Big Mom and certainly the strongest member of her pirate crew apart from herself. Katakuri is an incredibly powerful individual, and he has access to all three types of haki. On top of that, he has awakened the Mochi Mochi no Mi.
Overall, Katakuri’s powers are strong enough to overwhelm even someone like Luffy during the Whole Cake Island Arc. WhileKatakuri’s Observation Haki is certainly beyondthat of Sanji, in just about every other aspect of battle, he is inferior, and overall weaker.
3King The Wildfire
King was one of the three calamities of Yonko Kaido and certainly a very powerful individual. With the Bounty of 1.390 billion berries, King was certainly a force to be reckoned with.His main strength source was his Lunarian lineage. King is certainly monstrous, however, compared to Sanji, he doesn’t possess anything that Sanji cannot deal with.
In fact, Sanji is much faster and overall, packs a much better punch, which would certainly see him surpass the level of this individual. Undoubtedly, at the time of the Egghead Island arc, Sanji can takedown King in battle without too much difficulty and that just goes to show how strong he is right now.
2Rob Lucci
Rob Lucci is a member of the Cipher Pol Aegis 0and certainly one of the strongest within their ranks, if not the strongest. Fans recently got to see a display of his newly awakened powers in the Egghead Island Arc. In this arc, he fought against Luffy and Zoro. While Luffy made very quick work of him, he gave Zoro quite an exciting fight. However, Zoro certainly did not unleash everything he had on him.
The fact that Zoro was able to defeat him certainly implies that Sanji can do it as well, especially because Zoro did not have to go all out. Furthermore, comparing their skills, it is evident for the fans to see that Sanji is far superior in just about every aspect.
1Marco The Phoenix
Marco the Phoenix is the former right-hand man ofWhitebeard and one of the most powerful pirateson the seas. Marco fought in the Paramount War, where he clashed equally with the Admirals, and then, he also took part in the war on Onigashima, where he fought against the likes of King and Queen. Back then, Marco was able to hold them off at the same time, and that is certainly very impressive. However, Sanji did just that, despite being injured and before he awakened his true powers.
Right now, Sanji is on a level above Marco. Sanji has super regeneration, just like Marco, although not as efficient. However, his skeleton, strength, and speed, along with just about everything else, are far above the level of Marco. Surely, Sanji is on an entirely different level right now. He even went head-to-head with Nusjuro and injured him in battle. Of course, the true limit of Sanji’s powers is yet to be seen, which puts him on an even higher level when compared to the vast majority of the pirates in One Piece. There is nothing less to be expected of one of Luffy’s strongest underlings and he will certainly only continue to grow stronger.
