One Piecefans are incredibly excited to know that the series is heading in an even more exciting direction than ever before, and much of that is down to the fact thatthe Egghead Island Arcis now incredibly close to its end. This arc has been stunning from start to end, but of course, at the end of the day, it is only the beginning of the Final Saga. As with every other saga in One Piece, the initial arcs are only there to whet the appetite of the fans, which means that what is to come is going to be grander, more intense, and of course, something that will set a completely new standard in the entire franchise.
This is one of the biggest reasons why fans are excited for the upcoming major arc, which, at this point, has been all but confirmed. The vast majority of One Piece fans know that the Elbaf Arc is next, and with Egghead close to wrapping up, that is where the story is going to be headed next, and it seems that One Piece has essentially confirmed that preparations for Elbaf are now underway.

The Straw Hat Pirates enjoyed their time on Egghead Island in quite a chaotic manner. Of course, the Strawhats never get to relax whenever they go to some island, but Egghead was extra chaotic for them. As soon as they arrived on the island, they had to deal with a traitor within the ranks of Vegapunk. Then, they had to protect Vegapunk from a Marine invasion, which saw 30,000 Marine soldiers on 100 ships of all shapes and sizes attack the island. Dealing with them was very difficult for the Strawhat Pirates. Still, the crew did more than just well against them, and eventually, managed to carve a way out. The biggest problem that the Straw Hat Pirates faced in the Egghead Island Arc were the Five Elders. Saturn managed to summon all of the Elders to Egghead, and he did so to prevent Vegapunk’s message from going out.

While the Government did succeed in killing Vegapunk, it came at a huge price as the message that he had pre-planned went out to the entire world. This was a major failure for the government, and at the same time, educated the world on individuals such as Joy Boy, some mysteries pertaining to the Void Century, the people of the D, and the importance of the One Piece, which links all of these things together. Now, fans also know that the major players in the Final Saga of One Piece have been highlighted by Oda, which means that the upcoming chapters are going to be absolutely incredible, asthe Straw Hat Pirates journey out of Egghead.
The Departure From Egghead
Of course, given how the events have been set up in the last few chapters, it is clear for the fans to see that the Egghead Island Arc is not going to last long. Egghead has been stunning, but it is now time for it to end. This was not a major arc in terms of length, especially when taking into consideration the recent precedent thatOne Piecehas set. The major arcs are around or over 100 chapters in One Piece, and while Egghead certainly did get close to those numbers, it certainly isn’t among the longest ones. The more intense arcs that are going to come up next are likely going to be much longer, with much deeper lore and history attached to them.

Still, as far as Egghead goes, fans know that this arc was sensational in terms of what it delivered. The Egghead Island arc managed to deliver exciting bits of action and quite a lot of info dump from Oda, and now, all that is over. Fans know that the Straw Hat Pirates are going to be headed towards the next island, and it appears that their escape from Egghead is now complete. Half of the Straw Hat Pirates were already on the ship of the Giants, while the other half were descending towards the ocean from the Labophase in the previous chapter of One Piece.
Of course, Sanji and Franky are going to ensure that the ship gets down safely, and with that, the Straw Hats will start sailing out of Egghead, which means that the next Arc is now on the horizon.
The job of the Iron Giant is to hold back the likes of the Five Elders, and push them using his secret trump card, which it carries fromthe time of the Void Century.As it does that, fans will know that the Straw Hat Pirates will get their opportunity to escape, and it will certainly be an exciting moment, because now, the story is going to be moving towards Elbaf.
The Beginning Of The Elbaf Arc
The Elbaf Arc Is Just Around The Corner
IfOne Piecechapter 1122 marks the end of the Egghead Island Arc, then fans will get to see the beginning of Elbaf very soon. Of course, as always, there are going to be a bunch of buffer chapters, which will take fans all over the world, and showcase the reaction of people to the events of Egghead, and the news that Vegapunk delivered. At the same time, fans will get to see major players from all over the world take some action, and with that, the focus will return to the Straw Hat Pirates. The Straw Hats will then sail towards Elbaf, which is where a very big part of the story is going to be unraveled.The Straw Hat Pirates have been waiting to go to Elbaf, and now, this dream is finally going to come true.
The journey to Elbaf is not going to be long either. Fans knowthat Elbaf is quite close to Egghead, which means that there are only going to be one or two buffer chapters, at most, before the crew gets to step foot on the island. As soon as that happens, a big part of the story is finally going to begin, which means that huge things are now awaiting the crew. Fans will get to see many major characters from the Giant Pirates, and at the same time, bigger fights, more lore, and just about everything on a much grander scale in One Piece.
The month of August might pass by with the buffer chapters that will be between Egghead and Elbaf, but September would be theperfect time for Elbaf to finally begin, and fans will get to see this amazing arc take the One Piece fandom by storm, because it is one that fans have been waiting for since ages now, and it will finally be illustrated by the author to the best of his abilities. One Piece is diving deeper into the Final Saga now, and it is surely going to get even more exciting.
