The mysterious man on the shores of Elbaf was not revealed by Oda at all, which means that a proper character debut is going to happen when the Strawhats finally reach the Warland. For now, the crew doesn’t know who this person is, and they will likely figure out his identity later down the line. This leaves a lot of room for speculation, which is what fans love often aboutOne Piece. All fans know is the silhouette of this character, and while this is the land of the Giants, this particular individual doesn’t look like he is one. Of course, perspective could be a play here and, at the end of things, this person could end up being a Giant after all. However, as things stand right now, this person looks more human than a giant.

At the same time, this person is also seen holding a bottle in his right hand, which suggests that this person might be a pirate, given that they are often associated with drinking rum straight out of bottles. That is all the fans know about this character, along with the fact that he seems to be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates to the land of Elbaf, almost as if he has been waiting for them for quite a while now.

Elbaf Could Introduce Loki And Many Others To The Fans
Of course, when one thinks of the new characters thatare going to be introduced in Elbaf, this person could be just about anyone. One particular individual that fans know this character could be is Prince Loki. But, Prince Loki is a Giant, which means that it is highly unlikely that this person is Loki. As mentioned earlier, the individual appears to be a normal human, and someone who has been awaiting the arrival of the Strawhats for quite a while. Loki is anything but that, which means that while it is an exciting possibility, it is likely not one that is going to come true at any point in the story.
At the same time, fans also know that there are other legendary characters that are going to be introduced in the Elbaf arc in One Piece. One legendary character that fans would love to see is Scopper Gaban. Fans know Gaban to be a former member of the Roger Pirates. Curiously enough, he has not shown up in the current timeline of the story at all, and readers would absolutely love to see him get involved in the story more. Rayleigh, a legendary member of the Roger Pirates, was seen being introduced in the story during the Summit War Saga. In Sabaody Archipelago, he was seen in a Human Auction Shop.

Of course, this is very little to go off of, but, given the fact that this person seems to be a pirate, and a friend of the Giants only suggests that it is a significant character who will likely hold legendary status in the world ofOne Piece. Gaban is a very good possibility for this legendary character that Oda could tie directly to Elbaf and fans would absolutely love to see more of that in the upcoming chapters ofOne Piece.
How Oda Could Tie In Legends To Elbaf
Scopper Gaban Or Some Other Legendary Figure Could Shake The Elbaf Arc
Of course, then one also needs to look at how Oda is going to incorporate this legendary character into the story more. The answer to this question is quite simple. If this legendary character is truly Gaban, then, he is likely there to aid the Strawhat Pirates in one way or another. For instance, Rayleigh was there to aid Luffy by making him stronger. Gaban could do something similar inOne Piece, especially now that fans know that Luffy needs to make his Haki much stronger, if he hasto fight against Imu and the Elders.

Gaban could also be privy to many secrets of the world, and although he would likely not tell the Straw Hats about what he found out on the final island, it would still be very interesting to have him play a major role here by giving exciting clues, and revealing information that doesn’t affect Luffy’s journey in any way.
On the other hand, this character could also be someone else entirely, but still hold legendary status. For instance, one exciting character that fans want to see more of is the man with the burn scar. This legendary character is known to travel in a ship with all-black sails, and he seems to be privy to informationabout the last Road Poneglyph.Clearly, this character is a legendary one which many individuals, including the Blackbeard Pirates, the Navy, and many others, are looking for. The key to theOne Piecelies in possession of this character, it would surely be exciting if that is who this character turns out to be.
Regardless of which direction Oda takes from here, fans know for a fact that this legendary character is going to shake things up in Elbaf very early on. All readers have to do is simply sit back and wait to see the story progress further.
