Summary
The Rocks Pirates were a legendary pirate crew that Oda introduced in the story during the Wano Country Saga. This pirate crew is no longer active, but it existed around 40 years ago in the world ofOne Piece, where it was at the peak of its powers. Clearly, the Rocks Pirates were the leading figures on the seas at the time, and their strength was such that Roger had to join forces with Garp in order to deal with the captain, and many other Pirates and Marines had to chime in as well.
The Rocks Pirates were utterly destroyed on God Valley, but their strength still remains legendary in theOne Pieceworld, and, in fact, the Rocks Pirates can essentially defeat the vast majority of the strong pirate crews that have existed in the world over the years.
6Big Mom Pirates
Led By Yonko Big Mom
The Big Mom Pirates are an incredibly powerful bunchthat fans have seen quite a lot of in the post-timeskip of One Piece. This crew was led by Yonko Big Mom, who had a bounty of 4.388 billion berries. Under her were her three powerful Sweet Commanders, Katakuri, Smoothie, and Cracker. Big Mom also had several powerful officers, and while all of them were strong, none of them posed a threat to the members of the Rocks Pirates in their prime.
The Rocks Pirates were absolute monsters and would have destroyed the Big Mom Pirates in direct combat, with only Big Mom being strong enough to stand a chance.
5Straw Hat Pirates
Led By Yonko Luffy
The Strawhat Pirates are an official Yonko crew that recently gained this position after the events of the Wano Country Arc. There is absolutely no denying the fact that the Straw Hats are strong, but, when compared to the likes of the Rocks Pirates, they pose no threat at all.The Straw Hats have a strong individual in Luffy, while all the others are, pretty much, beatable by the top tiers within the members of the Rocks Pirates.
Luffy would certainly put up a great fight, but other than him, all the others, including the likes of Zoro and Sanji, won’t pose much of a threat to the strong members of the Rocks Pirates and would essentially be crushed.
4Beast Pirates
Led by Former Yonko Kaido
The Beast Pirates are a formidable crew in the New World who were spearheaded by a former member of the Rocks Pirates, Kaido. After leaving Rocks, Kaido gained further strength and became incredibly powerful. He eventually became a Yonko and set up his base in the land of Wano.
Kaido became incredibly powerful over the years, and his Beast Pirates were certainly monstrous as well. While they were strong, they were dismantled by the Strawhat Pirates in Wano, and Rocks, along with his crew, would most certainly destroy this pirate crew as well.
3Red Hair Pirates
Led By Yonko Shanks
The Red Hair Pirates are some of the strongest in the One Piece World, with the vast majority of them being monstrous Haki users. While the Red Hair Pirates are strong,and Shanks himself would be strong enough to pose quite a threat to Rocks, all the other members either possess unknown strength or don’t have enough power in them to battle the likes of Whitebeard, Big Mom, Shiki, and many other legends that this group hosted.
Clearly, the Red Hair Pirates would not be able to stand a chance against this legendary pirate crew.
2Whitebeard Pirates
Led By Former Yonko Whitebeard
The Whitebeard Pirates were incredibly powerful, and housed some of the most dangerous pirates that the world had seen. Around the time of the Summit War, the Whitebeard Pirates were easily the strongest crew on all the seas.
However, much of the strength of the crew came from the captain, Whitebeard. Marco also possesses a tremendous strength, but, when compared to the young Whitebeard that was present in the Rocks Pirates, along with the likes of Big Mom, and Shiki, he wouldn’t pose much of a threat. The Whitebeard Pirates certainly were very powerful at their peak, but the Rocks Pirates were even greater.
1Roger Pirates
Led By Gol D. Roger
Of course,the Roger Pirates are one of the strongest crewsthat fans have seen in One Piece so far. However, they are bested by one pirate crew, and that is the Rocks Pirates. The Roger Pirates certainly were very strong, but, when compared to the Rocks Pirates, they were not a match. This was confirmed by Oda during the Kuma flashback, where Roger clearly implied having been defeated by Rocks at some point over the years.
This meant that the Rocks Pirates and the Roger Pirates had clashed, leading to Roger’s defeat. Roger carried this grudge until the day of the God Valley Incident, where he fought against Rocks once again. However, even though he got his second shot at this monstrously powerful pirate, he was still not able to defeat him by himself. Rocks needed help from the Marines, specifically Garp, to defeat this powerful pirate, and eventually, the Rocks Pirates were destroyed on this island. It must also be noted that the likes of Big Mom, Kaido, and others were not even injured and likely just dissipated after the news of the defeat of Rocks. In terms of overall strength, the Rocks Pirates were far stronger.
