Summary
Zoro is one of the strongest individuals inOne Pieceas of now. Although the beginnings of his journey as a swordsman were certainly humble, Zoro has progressed greatly over the years. By the time of the Egghead Island Arc, Zoro has defeated some of the strongest individuals in the series, and clashed against even the likes of the Yonko.
Zoro is on a very high level right now, but he’s still not at the very top. There are still individuals who are stronger than him, and even within the realms of Swordsman, there are many who are on a level greater than him.
6Fujitora
Fujitora is an Admiral of the Marines, and a very powerful individual. Fans know him to be a force to be reckoned with, and a tremendous fighter. He has the power of the Zushi Zushi no Mi, which gives him the ability to produce and control gravity at will. At the same time, Fujitora is also a very skilled swordsman.
In fact, he has a Supreme Grade Sword called Yakuza Kasen, using which he usually channels his gravity. He’s clearly on a level above Zoro, and in a fight, he would definitely beat him.
5Garling Figarland
Saint Garling Figarland is an incredibly important characterthat fans were recently introduced to in One Piece. He was the champion of God Valley 38 years ago, and ever since then, he has risen to the top of the God’s Knights. Dragon, the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army, believes the God’s Knights to be very capable foes, and anyone standing on top of them is certainly going to be very powerful.
This is especially indicated by the fact that this individual has the right to pass judgment even on the likes of the Celestial Dragons, which gives him a lot of importance. He also wields a very powerful sword, which likely belongs to the Supreme Grade class. Although his strength hasn’t been seen yet, the Champion of God Valley is certainly stronger than Zoro.
4Silvers Rayleigh
Silvers Rayleigh, the right-hand man of the Pirate King, is an incredibly powerful individual. Famed as the Dark King, Rayleigh was a scary swordsman who was deemed to be one of the strongest of all time back in the day. In fact, Garp even compares him directly to a Yonko. Even the current Yonko, such as Blackbeard, are scared of him, despite being on a level potentially higher than him.
Rayleigh is a user of incredibly advanced Haki, as has been shown in the series on many occasions. He can hold back Admirals even without going all out, and for him, defeating Zoro should not be hard.
3Dracule Mihawk
The greatest swordsman in the entire world,Mihawk is Zoro’s ultimate goaland an individual that he wants to defeat at all costs. Mihawk is very skilled, and his overall strength is on an entirely different level compared to Zoro. Even though Zoro has excelled quite a lot over the years, he is still far from the level of Mihawk.
A battle between them now would be closer than it was in the East Blue, but Mihawk would still make quick work of Zoro, and it is clear for the fans to see that the latter needs to go up several tiers in terms of strength if he wants to stand a chance against him.
2Shanks
Of the current Emperors of the Sea,Shanks is arguably the strongest. He is a monstrously powerful individual who is also likely the strongest pirate in the series right now. Shanks is extremely strong, and much of his strength is derived from his Haki. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Shanks has the strongest Haki in One Piece at this point, and this essentially puts him above the level of most of the characters in the story.
Shanks holds enough strength to knock out both Kid and Law at the same time, and for him, taking out Zoro would not be harder than it was when he fought Kid.
1Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro
Nusjuro Is one of the Eldersand a user of a Supreme Grade weapon. Fans saw him in the Egghead Island Arc, where he certainly fought incredibly well. He showcased his incredible swordplay by slicing the entire Labophase in half, and later down the line, also clashed with Zoro.
On top of all this, Nusjuro has immortality, meaning that any injury dealt to him can simply be healed by him in an instant. There is no way to kill him as things stand, and anyone fighting against him would eventually lose to him.
