One Piecechapter 1124 markedthe beginning of the Elbaf Arc, and it is sure to get even more exciting in the upcoming chapters. This week’s chapter was certainly interesting in many ways, and one of the most exciting details that fans got to see in the chapter was the introduction of a mysterious character towards the end. Although fans could not see who the character was, it was clearly a human awaiting the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates on the shores of Elbaf.
Of course, given the nature ofOne Piece, fans desperately want to know who this character is, and various ideas have already come up, some of which are incredibly exciting.
The Mysterious Individual On The Shores Of Elbaf
One Piecechapter 1124 ended with a banquet on the ship of the Giants. At first,Luffy and the Strawhat Pirateswere sad about the failure to save Vegapunk. This was natural, given that Luffy is a Yonko now, and it is expected of him to save those who he wants to save, especially when he is faced with various enemies. At the same time, the likes of Jinbe recognized the fact that even escaping for them was a big feat right now because the forces that they were put up against were something that even a Yonko could not escape from easily. Regardless, Luffy was drowning his sorrows and crying tears, that is, until he was informed about Lilith waking up. It was she who clarified to Luffy that Vegapunk hadn’t died, and that he was actually alive through her, because all of them are Vegapunk. This alleviated the Strawhat Pirates and kick-started a giant banquet on the way to Elbaf.
Come on! – The Mysterious Man
Fans got to see a narrative note as well, which essentially means that the next time they see the crew, they will be on the shores of the Warland. Speaking of Elbaf, a mysterious character was seen sitting on a cliff. This character seemed to wear a giant hat on his head, which covered most of his back, and at the same time, was seen with a bottle in his hand. As to who this individual is, fans do not know. And that is precisely what has sparked a lot of exciting ideas in the fandom already. Our own interpretation might be different, but it is just as exciting, nonetheless.
The Possibilities For Who The Mysterious Individual Is
There Are Many Candidates For The Position Of The Mysterious Man
Firstly, it needs to be clarified thatthe identity of the mysterious man in Elbafcannot be predicted accurately. All of the ideas put forward are mere guesses, and fans cannot say for sure who this individual is just yet. The clues left behind by Oda are way too insignificant to accurately predict who this person is, but that doesn’t mean that one cannot put forward ideas as to who this person truly is. There are multiple characters in One Piece who fit the character completely, and, it must also be kept in mind that this could be someone that fans have never seen before or only simply heard of. In that case, no matter what fans put forward as an idea, it is going to be useless because this character will be new and has never been seen before in the story.
If we go to Elbaf…we can see Saul! – Robin
But, there are others who it would make sense for Oda to introduce in Elbaf that they have heard of before or, at the very least, seen. Most fans gravitate towards Saul, however, it is clearly not this Giant. The person looked like he had the body of a human, which Saul clearly isn’t.
The Golden Lion Shiki
A guess that many fans have had isthe Golden Lion, Shiki. While Shiki would make for an incredibly exciting character in the land of Wano, it is most certainly not him. This is because Oda has ensured that when he introduces a character in movies as a villain, he doesn’t want to use them for the main story as well.
The character Shiki that was used in Strong World is the same character from the One Piece manga, and even though Oda did want to use him in the story in the future at one point, him being utilized in a movie essentially makes sure that he won’t be present in any major arc as a main character.
This might be saddening for many fans, but it is the truth and the fact is that Shiki would contribute little to Elbaf, because he doesn’t have any sort of connection to the land, or to any member of the Straw Hats. As such, this person cannot be Shiki at all.
The Left Hand Of The Pirate King – Gaban
Now, coming over to the exciting characters who this person could very well be, the first possibility that fans have in front of them is Scopper Gaban. Fans know that Gaban is a former member of the Roger Pirates, and that he played a very important role in the series. Where exactly he is right now appears to be a mystery. However, fans would love to see him be introduced in the story and add more depth to the lore of the Roger Pirates, the history of the World Government, along with much else. Rayleigh was introduced to the fans before the Summit War, and he has, since then, become an extremely exciting character.
Similarly, if Gaban were to be reintroduced here, fans would absolutely love to see him play a major role, and it would also serve a big purpose, because he has a lot of information pertaining to the Void Century, the world government, and, most importantly, the last road Poneglyph.
The Man With The Burn Scar
Speaking of the Road Poneglyph, the identity of this person could also be the man with the burn scar, because the character is directly relevant to the upcoming plot points in the story. It could also be that the man with the burn scar is Scopper Gaban, and fans cannot be sure at this point in time.
Calico Yorki
Finally, fans also have another exciting possibility for this person on the shores of Elbaf, and that is, Yorki. This might be a guest that not many fans have made, but, it certainly is a solid one. Fans know that Yorki was Brook’s previous captain, and an extremely exciting individual who spearheaded the Rumbar Pirates. He contracted a disease, which looked very similar to Tree Fever, and was seen setting sail in the Calm Belt. He’s presumed to have died, but Yorki could very well be alive, given that a confirmation of his death was never given. If Yorki is truly alive, then,fans could very well see him in Elbaf, playing a major role in the story in one way or another, and given his bond with Brook, this would also add a lot of depth to his character and give him exciting roles in the upcoming arc. Regardless of who this character is, fans are absolutely ecstatic to see what role Oda has them play and how they affect the upcoming events of the series.
