Speaking of Egghead Island, this arc was full of major developments in the story. Not only did the Straw Hat Pirates meet Vegapunk and find out key information pertaining to the Void Century, but at the same time, there were major developments all over the world. For instance, Garp attacked the Pirate Island and rescued Koby. Meanwhile, Shanks absolutely decimated Captain Kid, while Blackbeard stole Law’s Poneglyphs after destroying his crew. In the meantime, the Marines launched an assault on Egghead, and even the Five Elders ended up getting involved there.
Vegapunk’s message was transmitted to the entire world, where he revealed the biggest of secrets pertaining to the Void Century, information related to the individual named Joy Boy, along with much else. Though this arc was very detrimental to the World Government, they did get their fair share of victories as well. For instance, Vegapunk was eliminated by the Government, as were the vast majority of the satellites. York was successfully secured by the Government as well, and all these things put together do give the World Government some saving grace. All in all, the Egghead Arc was sensational from start to finish, but, there are bigger things to tackle as One Piece moves ahead, and it appears that the preparations for Elbaf are already underway.

One PieceDay is usually held in the month of July, however, in 2024,One PieceDay was split into a 2-day event and took place on August 10th and August 11th. Much to the surprise of the fans, One Piece Day saw promotion for the Elbaf arc of One Piece. This essentially means that the arc is just around the corner now.Fans got to see Dorry and Brogyget giant inflatables centered around the location, and all this just means that the Strawhats are traveling to Elbaf next.
For those who keep up with the story, it is no surprise, given that the Giants of Elbaf are already on Egghead and have successfully secured an escape route back to their country. Now, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are headed to the island of the Giants, and they will step foot on this island soon enough.

A definitive answer to when Elbaf is going to begin cannot be provided to the fans right now. However, given how the last chapter ofOne Pieceended, Elbaf shouldn’t be more than five chapters away.The Straw Hat Pirates have already left the Future Island, and even if the story does get a few buffer chapters here and there, Elbaf is bound to begin sooner rather than later.
The best guess for now is that Elbaf will begin at some point in September 2024, and from there onwards, fans should expect a very elaborate arc. Elbaf should be similar to Wano, Whole Cake Island, and Dressrosa in terms of length, and this is because it is likely going to be Luffy’s last major adventure before he goes on to claim the One Piece. Some of the biggest revelations in the story are going to be made here, and this adventure is one that Oda has waited ages to draw.
