Last year was a milestone forOverwatch 2with the arrival of the hero shooter’s first crossovers. The collaborations began withOne Punch-Man, with Blizzard adding skins based on the popular manga. In a team-up between the company’s IPs,Overwatch 2gotDiablo 4-themed content, with the debut of a new mode and skins turning characters like Moira into Lilith. Another popular collab released last year was with the LE SSERAFIM group, and for players who missed the first run, Blizzard has good news.
The LE SSERAFIM skins are back in theOverwatch 2in-game shop. For 6,800 coins ($59.98 USD), players can buy the 21-item mega bundle, which comes with the Kiriko, Tracer, Sombra, Brigitte, and D.Va skins, emotes, victory poses for the five characters, several name cards, and a weapon charm. For players who prefer, the skins can be obtained individually, with each hero’s bundle costing 2,500 coins ($24.98 USD). The return of the cosmetics comes to celebrate the milestone of 100 million views of LE SSERAFIM’s “Perfect Night” music video, but at the moment it is not known when they will leave the shop.
LE SSERAFIM Skins Are Back in Overwatch 2
TheOverwatch 2x LE SSERAFIM collaboration ran from November 1-20 last year, marking the first time the shooter has received skins based on a K-pop group. To extend the partnership, the group appeared at BlizzCon 2023, where they did a special performance of their then-new single “Perfect Night.” The crossover also included a new Concert Clash game mode and aJunkrat Legendary skinthat players got for free by joining the in-game event. Despite the return of paid skins,Overwatch 2has not revealed whether the Junkrat cosmetic will also return to the game, or if it will once again be free.
WhileOverwatch 2launched collabs with well-known names last year, this year has seen crossovers as well. Blizzard added themed skins from theTransformersfranchise, with Reinhardt, Ramattra, Bastion, and Illari getting new outfits. Other releases seen this year include Porsche-themed skins for D.Va and Pharah, andCowboy Bebopskins for Ash, Cassidy, Mauga, and Sombra. Most recently, anew Widowmaker skin inspired byWorld of Warcraftwas revealed, transforming the Talon sniper into Sylvanas Windrunner, the former Banshee Queen of the Forsaken.
